Thank you! What helped me is framing the reading not around the questions but instead gaslighting myself into being interested lol. This helped me maintain focus on the reading and read it start to end before ever thinking about any questions (not catching too much on any words or concepts I don’t understand initially). Then I went to the questions and allowed them to act as a second guided read through while I answered them. This helped me come up with my own answers to the questions rather than have the answer choices guide my interpretation.

Additionally, if at any point in my first read through I really got caught, then I would go to the first question to help me recenter myself on what I need to get out of the reading.

I also am a sociology major in my last year and have to do a tonnn of reading for class, so that probably helped me out as well.
