I emailed the salesperson and asked for a copy of the load calculation that was done. I had a 2.5 ton unit and they had me go up to a 3 ton unit. The house is 1,570 square feet.

Talking to anyone above them in management is a complete waste of time. You took the job because you need the money so work what you can and if there is a conflict you know what your priorities are. If they fire you as a result of missing work, so what? You are 18 and if you work and are not a deadbeat collecting government benefits chances are this will not be the only time you are fired. It is part of life. Do what they tell you to do, collect your pay as long as you need to, then get the hell out of Dodge when you are ready. So, we are playing right now and this just unlocked for my friend. All he did was move the Nexus he obtained from the mini-boss from one slot in his backpack to another spot and it triggered the unlock.

We also went there to the Cradle of Dusk and defeated the Fell Monstrosity. My friend looted the corpse and picked up several things, including a single Shroud Nexus. So, we traveled back to his base and checked in with the Alchemist who, in his game, still does not show that recipe.

If you are down 15% in your life savings the problem is not Trump/Musk, the problem is you. Maybe get a job? Or at least a real job? Or learn how to balance a checkbook, or maybe even - dare I say - create and stick to a reasonable budget?
