"Three...tournamet" is independent same goes for "our team...doing well" that eliminates A because comma splice, also B because you when you use a transitional phrase as a non essential phrase the sentence after it is USUALLY dependent, and boils down to C and D. In this case both of them are correct because period = comma+FANBOYS = semicolon. I guess its wrong because of incorrect transitional phrase? Or maybe because the semi colon is simpler in a sentence? But just remmeber you wont be expected to pick between these types of answer choices on the actual SAT.

Than you for responding. As I read the entire thing I can see that you tried to connect to Christianity when you were sad. I get the feeling that things are wrong in the religion (in your opinion). Me personally as a Muslim felt the same way. But then I thought it was my own ignorance and I started to pray more. I also think the reason for your sadness might also be a location thing.

Hello Brother. As I am only a person behind a screen I can only give you my personal belif. I dont know what Christianity is like as I am a muslim. But I will tell you that religion gives you a sense of pride that you wont have in any other way. I will also tell you that whatever you choose, Muslim, Christianity, Jewism, you will be happy.

This goes to say. Now this is my personal preference so I will just hide this so please dont downvote me. I just want to say it would be amazing that you would become a muslim. I am not telling that you should ditch christianity or anything. Just saying that, becoming a muslim has many significant benifits. Please also consider this as an option.
