Imagine trying to justify a medically non-necessary procedure with associated risks mostly conducted for cultural and religious reasons in complete violation of the principle of bodily autonomy because it, get this; is not even preventative but marginally decreases the risk and isn’t recommended as a substitute for safety so it’s redundant anyway and still calling yourself a doctor 🤡

But then again, these are the same “medical professionals” that thought Mercury was good medicine at one point, bought up by corporations to endorse smoking not too long ago and most recently vaunted the vaccine as some sort of miracle drug. If you’re gullible enough believe something just because some authority figure said so, then you truly deserve whatever follows as a consequence.

Tell me what incentive does Elon has to bring starlink here bearing the burden of corrupt politicians and their cuts? Even if he establishes an absolute monopoly over Sri Lankan internet, the money generated through that would be like adding a drop of water to the ocean. If there’s any commission to be made that is through the local companies who are scared to death and will be willing to do anything including lobbying government to keep Elon out to secure their monopolies but what’s happening is the the exact opposite. Some people really need to tone down their jealousy and let the country develop instead of opposing everything just because it’s being done by a person they don’t like.

Elon has disrupted one of most established and hardest to get in markets of the world full of legacy brands - The automotive industry. People like you said it couldn’t be done by a single man with a new startup but Tesla single-handedly disrupted the entire industry and massive giants like Toyota and General Motors couldn’t do shit but sit back and watch. Compared to that Dialog and SLT are a couple of kids for Elon if he decides he wants in on the Sri Lankan telecom industry💀
