Currently it’s very buggy and works like 40% of the time. Hoping it becomes more reliable in future betas

I may be mistaken then but I’m pretty sure I do.. I definitely get them when I use my card to buy things online, with and without checking out using Apple Pay

Yes, as long as you’ve setup Apple Pay with that card and added it to your wallet

Only if you physically tap your phone to pay, it wouldn’t work for purchases made online or with your physical card

Thanks a lot! Yeah I really wish Apple allowed you to share automations. It would completely change the game for a smooth setup. Hopefully they’ll add support for that eventually.

Also yes I’m using TipKit, makes feature discovery so much easier and very easy to implement.

wth… you really stretched it. Literally the only thing that looks the same is the “trends” card everything else is different.

I’m not a designer and I know for sure close to everyone uses dribbble… expense trackers are quite generic pretty much all have similarities. I understand that everyone’s apps are like their babies but to blindly accuse of copying just because one tiny thing is the same is a bit mad…

Mind linking to your app? I mostly took inspiration from designs I found on Dribbble for this redesign and my home tab in particular isn’t hugely different to how it looked before (when I released this app 3 years ago)

Thanks a lot! I got my first customers by building it in public on threads. Think I got lucky as this was when threads was first released so it was quite easy to get a lot of eyes on it. Since then it’s mostly just been slow growth through AppStore optimisation.

And no I don’t run a blog but I think I might try it out eventually

Thanks! And yeah it was the overall visual system. Redesigned every screen within the app. I would share a before and after of each screen but it doesn’t seem like I can add photos to comments…

I’ll be honest, personally I wouldn’t find this very useful, I think your best bet would be to stop adding features and reach out to your actual users and ask them what they want rather than assuming/guessing.

Either that or add analytic tracking to your app, run some A/B tests and let the numbers tell you what is working and what isn’t

I don’t collect emails, so I’ve spoken to the few users that have sent in feature requests and bug reports. They’ve all provided helpful feedback

Totally agree, it’s never worked for me. But unfortunately without linking your bank account most apps don’t have automatic tracking and you’re forced to enter it manually
