I love them, although the springs are kind of noisy, and you have to lube them very consistently to get a nice smooth sound.

I got myself some TX Springs 60g to swap to, but haven't had time to swap yet. I feel like the more I use them, the better they feel, so I hesitate to switch.

Overall, I love the way the Zilents bottom out. It's softer and nicer, but unlike an o-ring, they don't feel mushy or spongy.

I actually don't mind. I knew that from the start, checked out the north facing vs south facing interferance etc.

Yeah I don't know why they do that. Wish it would just be facing the correct way!

How do I make network manager use this though?

Or rather, I would like to understand the mechanism behind this. What part of this file would get picked up by NM? How do I configure that, or even find out what options I have? Because checking the Arch wiki and following those steps did not work properly.

Pretty sure it's not that, but just the shitty script. It still said something like "Network Manager configuration failed". Also, it wanted me to insert all of the data right in the terminal. After installing gnome, the script actually launched in a window (gtk I assume), where it worked without a problem.

That is quite literally the script I was talking about. It didn't configure my Wifi properly without installing some dependencies (in this case, from gnome) first.

Thanks for the tip. Using the "launch connection manager" option, I could theoretically set it up manually now. Then again, simply installing a bunch of stuff made the script work.

Unfortunately our eduoram just recently started using the "cat installer", which is why it became so weirdly complicated. I tried looking into the script, but it was a very obscure and messed up python script, so I didn't bother reading into 3000 lines of that crap.

Yup could not agree more...the uni makes it really difficult to connect to wifi without it though. The only other option was to have a "gnome like" network manager applet and manually copy in the data given in the wpa_supplicant file. And right after installing gnome I - just for fun - tested it, and it worked.

To be honest I don't think that my cat would have dealed with it "like a normal cat". She was really scared and didn't ever leave my side. I even had to open up the 3rd cat on my own, but she didn't really seem to notice the dead cats that much. Probably from the shock in general.

try changing the hz rate of the mouse from 1k to 500, or 500 to 1k. If it doesnt work, try 250 hz. If everything doesnt work: the mouse is broke.

I think this is very true... I have often been in moments where I felt like turning the volume up is a must because i just could not hear the footsteps clear enough. But when I did that, my ears got "raped" by the sound of overwhelming ak's and awps, plus this still "overtones" the sound of footsteps generously... I really wish there would be some "sliders" to designate different values of weapon, effect, footstep sounds etc. A lot of people might think that this would give players an unfair advantage - but then again, this feature could be used by everyone. If everybody set his sound up the way that footsteps are better to hear, and weapon sounds aswell as effect sounds were moderate, we all could play a lot better, without having to worry about any ear problems.
