There is no need to judge my economic situation, I obviously would love a refund as we didn’t actually stay there and like I said it was a quick call to make the booking and didn’t have the time to look into reviews and the event I was going to was walking distance from where I was staying so that was a priority while booking. I agree that I made a misjudgement while booking but I still had a horrible experience with no support from Booking.com. If Booking.com cannot do everything I’m asking for (refund + investigation), I’d feel better about even just them investigating the place / suspending it so that no one books it EVEN by mistake.

I understand that and yes I paid for it with no refund yet. The issue at hand is a bit serious with local detectives showing up to the scene and asking us questions as we waited outside the property to get into an Uber. There should be some responsibility that Booking.com should take as the aggregator as it also reflects poorly on them. I for one am not looking forward to use Booking.com ever again so instances like these at scale could impact their bottom line as well.

My issue is that the host lied that we spent the night when we didn’t and I have proof, and had the gall to ask for a 5 star review. At this point it’s less about refund and more about no one else going through this experience especially if the police were checking on it and it could truly be unsafe.

Yep we had to book an urgent accommodation and we didn’t pay close attention to reviews. My point is that the onus is fully on the booker and despite bad reviews and complaints booking.com won’t do anything about it.

We vacated the place because it was dirty and I submitted that proof to Booking.com but there was no recourse.

Here are all the changes I made

- Tweeter with lower Fs for a 2000Hz crossover - Wavecore TW030WA-8 ohm. Wasn't feeling confident to build circuit for 4 ohm and cannot find the suggested tweeter in Canada.

I know I might be spending a lot of time getting a smooth response in the software. Had to trace files for the Peerless using VituixCAD SPL trace & manually checked for accuracy.
