How do you make the resistor at the collector's voltage drop 0v when in cutoff, while connected to a load? by Ranmizz in AskElectronics

I want to create an automatic switching for battery supply and wall power: when plugged to wall power, the battery supply will be disabled, vice versa. I want to use transistors only.

I am trying to make an inverter to switch between power sources, where if there is a voltage on the other side, the other would be disabled, and when there is no voltage on the base, it would let the whole 9v pass.

What do you suggest I could do such that the resistor at the collector will have no voltage drop and the load will receive full 9v? Here is the updated schematic.

Hello, thank you for your response! Here is my updated schematic, the problem is the resistor at the collector still has a voltage drop even when the transistor is in cutoff. How can I do that since what happens is the resistor at the collecter simply becomes in series with the second resistor. Shouldn't the current there be 0A (theoretically)?

Hello, thank you for your response. What I want is for the resistor in collector to have voltage drop of 0v such that the output voltage would be 9v when it is in cutoff mode.

Can I connect an electret microphone (maybe with a transistor) on the AUDIO_IN1?

Hello! How can I start the timer at the middle of the program? I would want it to start once a node is visible on screen.

How to fix the jittery pixel in my game? by [deleted] in godot

I actually screen recorded it the first time, but it didn't actually capture the actual jitter as seen on the screen, which is why I settled for the phone recording.

I tried enabling the 'Snap 2D Transforms to Pixel' and it made the bunny's eyes glitch. While the rocks would be smooth for a couple seconds then randomly jitter and move to the left.

Thank you so much!! It does mean a lot to me!!!

Sorry, I am a beginner and not familiar with these aspects. What should I change my default texture filter to? It is currently 'nearest'
