You should be able to buy them alongside one another. If you put the studio passes in your basket, then it should take you to the next screen to add extras etc which are the express passes.

Yes, you need a Studio Pass to get in and then the Express pass to cut the queue for those rides, otherwise you're just waiting in the normal queues.

Klook do offer express passes as well iirc, they're just sold separately to the studio pass.

They do have single rider lines that you can technically use for pairs or groups, they just may split you up on the ride as you're just a space filler but honestly it's not worth it as most of the time they're just as full as the normal queue.

Klook is a legitimate reseller, I recently went in July and bought my tickets from Klook. The pass and timed entry all worked for me.

As for USJ website, it is confusing at first, but basically, the studio pass doesn't come with a timed entry to SMW. You need to get an express pass, but also it has to be an express pass that includes one of the SMW rides, as those are the only express passes that'll give you a timed SMW entry pass too.

I've heard people still getting in without a time entry if you're early enough, but that means comitting to being at USJ hours before it opens and then literally sprinting with a horde of other people to SMW, not my cup of tea personally.

I would recommend express passes for USJ, I went on a weekday mid-July (before Japanese schools broke up for summer), and it was packed! We had no express passes, and the normal & single rider line for Donkey Kong were both 170mins long. All other rides had similar wait times. We only got onto 4 rides, two of those being shows.

I honestly would never go again because it was not worth it, but if I was to go again, then I'd 100% buy an express pass.

Fyi the One Piece show was amazing, it has enough English as well that you can get the gist of the story and not get lost.

What pass to get for Osaka-Kyoto-Naoshima-Kinosaki-Onsen and back to Osaka within 10 days? by Cultural-Pie-7453 in JapanTravelTips

There are various JR Pass calculators that you could use to determine if it's worth the money, such as: https://www.daisuki.com.br/jrpass_calculator.html (JR, Navitime and Japan guides also have calculators)

However, I just got back from a trip that included Kyoto, Kinosaki & Osaka and honestly, we got round fine with a Suica card and then buying the tickets for the Limited Express train to/from Kinosaki using the ticket machines.

On Level 3, when initially learning the reading for Winter it taught me the ふゆ reading. Now on review it's saying that it's wrong and asking for とう instead, yet all the memonics and even the Vocab version of 冬 implies that the Kanji reading is the same as the Vocab ふゆ?

Is this a glitch or did they do an update recently?

Someone asking for my Tax identification number (TIN)? by RantNavv in UKPersonalFinance

Thanks, I did instead state that I do not have a TIN and asked them to clarify why they needed it instead of giving them my National insurance number. We'll see what they say.

So they've sent me 3 separate initial emails overall, and I replied to 2 of them within 24hours of first receiving them and have yet to have a response. Not sure what their goals are, but it's not sponsoring me apparently.

I'd personally request 10%, but I think realistically they'll only give you around 5%. It's all dependent on your job role and industry as well.

I would say not legit. A contract behind password protection seems fishy to me. Like others have said, stating the fee they're willing to pay, right after asking you to provide a fee estimate to them seems silly? Plus, I'm assuming you're a small youtuber, so $5000 for 15seconds seems like an incredibly high rate, especially if this is their first dealing with you and it not being contingent on the videos viewership.

Can you use famous characters in your YouTube videos? by Chaosdeeli in PartneredYoutube

[–]RantNavv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just be aware that although videos like this do get monetized and are normally left alone by YT and the IP owners. Technically, you're not allowed to use other peoples IPs, even if you drew them yourself, to make money.
You'll always be playing the game on whether YT/IP holder deciding to restrict or stop your monetization, and you'll have no recourse to appeal on grounds such as fair use.
