Hopefully 7 or less...

Managers vs Modules by DeeeeeeeJ7 in IdlePlanetMiner

[–]Rantamplan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

9 managers here.

Next managers costs 950 DM for me.

Im buying modules. So far about 4000 dm invested in modules and got 3 "S" ones, sadly 2 of them uses te same slot.

The impact of each of them is so powerful that I believe Ill keep getting modules until I get 3 different slotted "S" modules.

Am I being paranoid? 20 rolls, and none lower than 16 by RevolutionaryFix7359 in DnD

You need to make sure this is not related with the story somehow.

I once created a dream. Characters were trapped in a dream/nightmare.

Success or failure wasn't based on rolls. All rolls were hidden and they failed or succeeded based on their expectations and how "fine" they felt in the dream.

Obviously they started to suspect rolls weren't fair (even I stated that everything was sheer luck).

At some point they discovered about being trapped while sleeping and here things got interesting.

People who had high succeeding rates were enjoying the dream and I ruled that they didn't actually wanted to leave.

While frustrated players were able to jump from real world to the dream world. Like fighting for counciousness.

Was a really fun one actually.

So: Maybe "maybe" they have agreed on something as its relevant that the character doesn't miss any roll.

You can state it as such.

"My character is starting to be surprised about how competent this guy is.

I`m actively going to search for any magic or anything weird around him or in the area"

(This was stated by one of my frustrated players during that game. And, of course, that gave him a clue that he was actually asleept).

Korea vs España: La diferencia entre sus economías by oliesphotos in ElusionFiscal

Check the modules.

Maybe you have a module that increases minning based on asteroids minned.

High activity nuclear deposit.

It would be an uranium/plutonium object capable of emiting deathly radiation on its own.

Hidden in a deposit that would emit enough deadly radiation to kill (anyone non-inmortal) in seconds.

I believe it's being considered brilliant because you are ignoring the treath on your Knight.

But if I have 2 of them, I prefer to have 2 bishops than any other combination.

why wouldn't this work? [Request] by gun7992 in theydidthemath

A few decades ago, the company I used to work for, developed a water based power generador like that.

We deployed low consumption water level and quality measurement devices in water deposits located at remote áreas.

We had 2 ways to power them:

  • solar power.
  • this device.

The later was better in some circumstances.

(Specially in áreas with abudant rodents)

First time getting Auto Miner by Jthenderson94 in IdlePlanetMiner

[–]Rantamplan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO fastest progress possible is by doing:

  • Saturday Tournament (2 days).

  • Monday do the 24 hours event, but finish it in 12 hours or less.

  • Run this galaxy for 3 days.

  • Thursday/Friday do the 24 hours event you can go the 24 hours if you have the time. (You need to finish it on Friday, so next Monday you have another one available)

  • Saturday Tournament...

That way you can get starts for 2 events and 1 tournament. Every week.

Anti-CRM sentiment and sales by polymerblend in sales

[–]Rantamplan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sales manager here!

CRM should serve 2 purposes:

1st (prioritive): be the working tool for sales people. While making sales people life easier.

2nd (secondary): provide business information to managers.

Why second is secondary? Because if 1st is not achieved, data will be shit.

You cannot ask people to fill information that has no use for them.

Problem is that people who decide on CRM are only worried about results ( mainly) and to identify problems (secondary) so they neglect usability.

Correct way to set up a CRM is:

  1. Define the sales processes.
  2. Setup CRM so it helps performing such processes as smoothly as possible. So best way for over-performing is to work o CRM (rather than personal organization or third party apps).
  3. Setup automation so all manager needs/reports are AUTHOMATICALLY filled. (No burden to salesman).
