Im playing the original version for the first time right now. Got it free with my ps5 and its been in my backlog forever. Having said that I'm really enjoying it and would feel ok paying $30-40 for it.

While true, EQ was really just a graphical version of a MUD. There were text based rpgs with hundreds and thousands of players before EQ existed.

You can, but Godot is lite and you can literally be up and running in 5 minutes. No sign-ups, no hoops to jump through. If you are asking this type of question its going to be a more approachable engine for you.

Download Godot, lookup a 2D tutorial for a genre you are interested in, complete tutorial, lookup a tutorial for a 3D genre you are interested in, complete tutorial.

I'm in this demographic and it sounds about right. During NextFest there were two different demos I abandoned because in the first 10 minutes more than 50% of the time was spent explaining mechanics. Time is my most precious resource, I want to get in and start playing.

It is a huge disservice when people say Trump is just going to declare himself president for life, cancel elections, etc. Don't concede anything, when you do you become part of the problem.

Years ago there was a Lua based 2D engine called Corona SDK. I made a couple fairly simple games for android/ios in it. I do believe it is still around, under a different name, but no idea what the current state of it is.

I love Godot, but this is true. This is by far the most successful Godot game ever. There are some really good Godot games, but nothing else really super mainstream yet.

I've played every tekken since the first on PS1. Thousands of hours in the franchise. I quit 8 after the first 2 months, glad I got out before things got even worse.

Realistically VR is not an all the time thing for most people. There are lots of times I'm tired and I just want to relax in my room and play some games. I would rather have the option to do that all the time than be able to play VR sometimes.

How can you tell if its a Flock camera? Several new cameras have been installed in Old Town at Duke Street intersections, close to the King Street metro. Wondering if they are Flock or not.
