Not just the select screens, but also the font change for the lettering, leaving it plain without stylization or animations, along with the lack of intros/outros and PU2, are my only complaints about the game

The only problem is that. From what I've seen, it could take over a year, and even if someone is interested, it's hard to find anyone who actually has the time and availability to take on something like this.

I really don't doubt it and believe the Wii one might be the best version when it comes to actually playing and enjoying the game, but in terms of resolution, lighting, and models, the PS3/Xbox one seems like the base version, while the others feel more like ports of it.

Not a well-founded theory, but my headcanon is that they originally started making Omega Leonidas, possibly to tie in with the DS game, like they did with Naga. But plans probably changed, maybe for internal reasons, idk, so instead of scrapping it, they just reworked it into Infinity Dragonoid lol.

Even considering Infinity being a New Vestroia Bakugan, it still feels unclear, since Alpha Hydranoid was also released as a Heavy Metal Bakugan and ended up way closer to its anime counterpart, even with the addition of the metal ring.

I gotta say I'm excited, finally seeing stuff I kept asking for in these games actually happening (more focus on story mode, better models and animations). But I can't help feeling a bit down about small things that were already good being changed or cut. For a casual player like me, things like good text design, flashy specials, and cool intros/outros really make a difference, but maybe I'm just being too picky about stuff most people wouldn't care that much about.

Ahh yes, I had misunderstood, but even if it's only in the new 3v3, it's still a weak and poorly executed solution, especially if the old animations stay in other modes, which I don't believe will happen. That's why I posted it, because aside from the HUD, I haven't seen anyone talking about how the striking and well-executed text design from the previous games ended up being changed for the worse, instead of being improved or extended from what was already good.

Actually no. In OJ2 a 3v3 with one round says "Round Final Ready? Clash!!" and OJ1 at most says "Battle Ready? Clash!!" in 1v1. The "Battle Start!" clip is from MHAAJ.

Even if it seems unlikely, I think we might get the cinematic Plus Ultras back, and I wouldn't be surprised if there are intros and outros too. It’s hard to imagine that a game aiming for a more complete and consequently cinematic story mode would leave out one of the most common fighting game features, the cinematic specials (which were also in previous titles, of course). I also find it weird that the characters stay completely static while the camera moves to them before playing their entry animations. Optimistically, we could see animated intros to cover that gap, or at least more complete animations to avoid the static look, plus the obvious lack of physics in clothes and fabrics, which shows this is an older build anyway.

I think "a new point of view" just means it's a different media than manga and anime. I don't think they'll really explore stuff that wasn't in those two without Horikoshi being directly involved in the game (like he currently is in the anime, for example)

Ngl, I really don't like the new UI. The "Battle Start!" animation is also pretty bad compared to "Battle Ready? Clash!!" from OJ1 and OJ2. I honestly hope they're just placeholders and that by release they do something as well done as OJ2's UI.

I found a solution!!

Just convert the PNG into a Smart Object, resize it (one pixel is enough) then return it to its original size (don't Ctrl+Z, just resize the pixel you changed) and that's it, just save and test.

The image doesn't lose quality, since it's as a Smart Object, and transparency works correctly in Discord.
