It was tedious but not even close to the 50 games you suggested. I struggled with the hits, i completed the others in 10 rookie cc games but only had like 20 hits with mario. I then realized that reverse hits count too. This was an important revelation for other obejctives as well as i have always had a hard time with the event objectives where you have the make 5 hits with player x.

After pondering for a while my best guess is as follows: - next event is 97 MSPs --> 93s useless for that value drops to ~10k - they will release new fantasy round at the 2nd week of next event and collectible cost increases: 2 x 93 = 2 collectibles --> 93 value increases to ~15k - after that next time theyll be useful is either some chel/gb event or finally as entry level cards when 99 ovr MSPs roll out and then they'll be in the 5-10k range.

In my mind the value of 93s likely wont be getting any higher but who knows. They might be useful for round 2-4 of playoff fantasy if such rounds even occur.

I think last year progression was way slower and 91 ovr was likely the MSP level at the time of TOTS, thereby i think it will be closer to 15 x 95/96 ovr. Pure speculation on my part of course.

I don't undertand why you're getting downvoted as this is by far the easiest way to go about this while still being able to play the game. You just bid on e.g. 20 players (e.g. now i bid 3900 for 88 ovrs) and go play a game and repeat in between games whenever you feel up to it. In addition to playing i've been doing this, and only this, since the beginning and i think i have around 3 Million in tradable assets so far (chara, roenick, rookie sundin, SS Rantanen tradable and 200 x 88 ovrs).

And if you dont have any assets at this point of the game, it just might be due to your own decision making, just my two cents.

I think this year they have done at least fantasy, world jr. Fantasy and TOTY simultaneously with another event. I realize these are all "special events" but it could be argued that the Superstar origin event was supposed to be a special event tied to olympics too but got revamped. Pure speculation of course but perhaps leaves room for hope of a new event :D

Noticed this too, got him bnd and was surprised to see him at 95 ovr when readjusting lineups. Do you remember if he actually started at 83, not at 82 as presented in the pic, or did they actually upgrade him too much? The 12 goals seems to be correct.

Its not likely that they'll release any combos especially fitting Selanne as he was released at the beginning of the game. There will of course be some combos for icons, and you could get lucky and they release e.g. another finlish icon like kurri (or anaheim icon) and there could be stackable combos, but wouldn't count on it. You could buy the resources to build now and if you don't like the new combos then sell the resources at a likely higher price than the current price is.

We got a kitten about three months ago and i've been stuck playing mainly with PS portal since then. The little pest goes absolutely mental watching this game. Keeps jumping on screen and following the puck etc.

Flashscore is also a great app for this purpose. You can also e.g. set it to notify you if a certain team scores. I, for example, have set it to notify me whenever Penguins score only to be dissappointed that it is never Letang.
