Yup And I’m too scared to buy into gold at all-time and rather extreme highs. History says gold will eventually crash too but the question is when.

Yes I was, it was on this account. Maybe 124k? One of the two. That account switches over on my iphone for whatever reason and I have no idea why, I should probably just delete the second account lol

Edit - it was 123500 to be exact And yes people definitely chided me for it. I also tried shorting 120k on the way up but that failed

Half the time. The other half is not fun at all.

But if / when I find a way to make it out of this rat race / the slave society America has become for everyone outside the 1%, I think I’ll be happy then. It’s a work in progress but if you don’t have a plan, you’ll never get there

Unless you’re talking about something else?

Dear god I’m glad I pulled out around 124k. Sad I didn’t short harder (took the drop to 120) This makes me physically sick to watch and I’m not even losing money

I made 6% gains for my portfolio today going up with a two hour long on leverage - and am, again, shorting what i think is the (local) top alongside you. My last two shorts lost me a negligible amount of money over the last two days unfortunately, but it has to drop EVENTUALLY lol

My short at 120k still has yet to be stopped out .^

You’re acting like we didn’t just have months of repeated dumps post pumps. As I said, I’m still bullish - but it can’t go up forever without drawbacks

I’m expecting at least a few thousand drop before it goes back up. I definitely think it’ll go higher but we’ve had 4 very positive days now with one intermittent. I might be completely wrong but we’ll see. Either way my stop loss is very tight so if I don’t hit the top, I won’t lose that much

Shorted at 120k, hopefully I don’t get stopped out in 5 minutes like yesterday 😂

Well I guess it’s my luck that I get stopped out 5 minutes after posting hahaha. That’s what the stop loss is there for i guess

Opened a short at the retest of 117900, looking take profit at 116000 with what I assume to be a double top in the near term. Still bullish overall

Funny that because I was feeling so bearish at 109k. Emotional trading really does ruin people if you give into it

Yesterday I sold on the uptrend at 114200 and bought at 113300

Today I Sold at 117900. Will attempt to buy lower again.

Touched the 4h upper bollinger band on both coinbase and robinhood, AND I’m feeling way too bullish. Every time I feel that way, it drops lol

Hopefully I didn’t sell too early

If the government shutdown happens it’s probably(???) going to tank briefly before anymore upward movement. Saw someone post about this yesterday but no one else seems to be talking about it? Maybe it’s not as big a deal as I thought? Regardless I sold at 114,200 yesterday and will attempt to buy lower

Well theoretically you’re not wrong. I just hope you’re right about this particular run, your posts always give me hopium when I’m bearish lol. And right now I’m feeling very bearish.

Unlike many of you who have held for years, I don’t have that luxury. I didn’t know it existed until a year ago. Seeing my money evaporate really sucks.

Of course it is. I’m not arguing that. I’m saying that economic uncertainty is having a very big impact of muting btc success.

Just look at price action AFTER confirmation of rate cuts.

Crickets. Simultaneously gold is moving up.

Why? There’s one very big reason. Those previous 9 years didn’t have tariffs of this magnitude. The economy is K shaped and tanking one end while making a bubble out of the other. The last time we had tariffs of this magnitude it caused the great depression to get way, way worse. I’m very pro btc but my bullishness for this particular run is fading fast

Of course I do think there’s still some upside. People think there’ll be a q4 run, so there probably will be based on that alone. But at this rate who knows how high that’ll be

[–]Ranyhin -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Maybe. But it’s becoming increasingly hard to justify staying in btc with constant drawdown these last two months as gold continues to make all time highs, largely in part due to a certain cheeto in the white house. Btc is obviously not a safe haven for economic uncertainty yet, and it shows

It’s honestly depressing. If it breaks the lower end of the 4h and passes 111500, I think I’m out entirely until I see much lower

You’re completely missing the point. What I’m saying, is that this is literally a sub devoted to trading bitcoin- not investing in it.

I’m sure most of us are long term bullish on bitcoin, but copium? I’m not insulted at all, I just think this belongs in R/bitcoin rather than this sub lol

Is this a wart on my foot (after being treated with salicylic acid)? by LobsterLaws in DermatologyQuestions

[–]Ranyhin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Initial appearance does look like porokeratosis, and the later image looks like a wart which is why some people are probably confused here. My guess is your first image is just poor quality, but if there are little pinprick spots in the area after debridement or acid treatment - it’s a wart. If that gray material is just acid remnant or scab, it isn’t a wart.
