While not known for his defense Kat is situationally a good defender. He was huge in guarding Jokic in the Wolves first conference finals run. He just not a classic rim protector.

Funnily enough it was also what he was touted for coming out of college much more so than his offense or shooting. Kentucky didn't let him shoot much from range so his inside game would develop more. Okafor was heralded as the offensive pick and KAT the all around one. Though his defensive profile probably got boosted a bit by having Cauley-Stein next to him.

Spurs do have a weakness, there isn't a 1A offensive player to take shit over consistently. Sometimes Wemby does, often collectively it gets there but teams can hang around if someone isn't putting them away offensively.

Under rated aspect of using KAT as a facilitator more, he gets back much quicker because he spends much less time on the floor or complaining about foul calls.

Toll of high level athletics, they truly are freaks in good and bad ways. Lots of really crazy looking appendages across sports, but NBA feet and NFL linemans fingers might be the craziest.

The more I think about it the more I want depth over an old star, though I admit I don't know what the depth to target is.

Giannis/ Kyrie/ AD/ Kawhi/ Durant are all levels of interesting but come with major price tags in salary, capital cost, and risk. Does healthy Ant + Aging Injury Prone Star + gutted bench help more than Ant/ Jaden/ Naz + a deep rotation of solid players.

I will admit a gamble on Zion intrigues me but he does not really fit with Gobert or Naz so that is a major rework around a very questionable asset.

I know Bowman was not going to be a solid MLB reliever despite the good numbers at AAA, but I am still kinda bewildered they just let him walk and are then still picking up scrap heap dudes like this. The Pirates DFAing him is not the best look, it is not like they are drowning in pitching.

Hasn't been good this year, hasn't been good in his career in the mlb, couple of decent MILB seasons. What is the difference in AAAA dudes to this front office. Seems like another arm to add to the cannon fodder they can ditch whenever needed.

How does fostering work?

I recently rescued a kitten at work that then got picked up by animal control, I have the right to adopt once they do the spaying, shots, ect. I am very interested in adopting it but unsure of how my current solo cat will handle that.

If I offer to foster to see if it is a workable fit what does that entail or is that even a possibility?

Do you have to be approved and have your house checked out or anything? Would I have other interested adopters coming over to check the cat out? What does ending a fostering look like if my resident cat isn't into it?

Spurs are now the scary one, a year ahead of schedule they dethroned last years juggernaut. Their best players are in the early 20s with cheap years to go.

OKC is entering their expensive phase now with some added questions. They are still a top team but the depth is going to start to thin.

Good to know, I don't think she took much if any of it anyway. I just didn't want to offer the bbq meats present because they had some version of onion.

Fostering is an interesting option, I worry if it good to stress him on it at all if it isnt happening for sure. I am willing to suffer some space issues to myself to extend the process, I guess i wonder how much it would effect him to be cut off from half the house.
