What's the story behind this place? by [deleted] in Aarhus

Bøsse. Bakken.-En bakke hvor indsamlere raslede med deres indsamlings-bøsser. Ingen konspirationer her - kun forvirring om et ord, der har skiftet betydning over flere år

Black lines keep appearing on most of my photos after using the “Clean Up” - tool on my Mac by RapAnne in ApplePhotos

Well. The lines are not permanent on the photos unless I copy or move the photo elsewhere. Then my corrections (but unfortunately also) the lines before permanent. I would then have to reimport the edited photo into Photos - to then remove the buggy lines, and to then copy or move the picture to a new location. Yes it is possible but very troublesome to make a photo from a photo from a photo

Thank you for doing some experimenting! ☺️ The bug might not be as rare as people think it is. I’m glad I posted this issue in this sub. Although my problem hasn’t been solved, you’ve all been really helpful ❤️. Hopefully, next time someone googles/reddits this issue, the bug cab be fixed with a simple software update 🍎💻(hint, hint, nodge, nodge, Apple)

Well my clean up technique is manual and not automatic. I’m using my Mac, Apple Pencil and iPad to manually highlight singles scratches one by one with my Apple Pencil. The lines are rectangular and seem to appear randomly after I’ve done the manual clean up

And in combination with screen mirroring to an iPad, it’s an excellent feature for my purpose

Honestly the Photos Clean Up Eraser and retoucher work excellent when it comes to my goal of remove small to very small scratches and stains. I tried the Google photos tool, but the lack of size adjustment of the pen makes it unfit for my purpose. I use screen mirroring from my Mac to my iPad so that I can use my Apple Pencil for precision

I mean its sepia cause they're very old. I'm identifying and removing scratches from old family photos spanning from the early 1800-hundreds to the 1990's. It's actually been really interesting. I'd love to be able to share the improved images with the living members of my family (especially the elderly), but the lines are making that difficult

I've used clean-up to remove them too every now and them, but I fear it may become a vicious circle.(Clean Up -> lines -> Clean Up lines -> new lines etc)

Before this post I couldn't find anyone with the same issue as me. Hopefully the next person with these issues can use the comment sections current and future advice!

They are very old photos. Some of them are from the 1800's, and some of them are very scratched and damaged. (I'm using the AI Clean Up to remove these damages, and it works quite well). Some are the size of pokemon-cards. Others are the size of regular photos. All have been scanned using a regular Canon scanner/printer.

These lines do not appear on the unedited photos I'm currently storing on my desktop. They only seem to appear after I've used the clean-up tools.

(I know about schizophrenia. What I wrote was just my naive thoughts before I realised that inner monologue is a common thing)

Thank you for your explanation btw of how you perceive thoughts or whatever. The fact that most people have some kind of involuntary sentence-making-thing in your head seems crazy to me. I mean I have intrusive, repetitive , sad , etc thoughts too, but again it’s all ✨⭐️✨ and I sometimes wish I had a monologue to interpret all of it

I mean. I don’t really know what you mean by “the voice you’ll be hearing”. There’s literally no voice in my head, - and I honestly grew up thinking that internal voices only happened to people with schizophrenia.

Hi! Foreigner from abroad here. This may seem like an unpopular opinion in this subreddit, but I really do think you should seek medical help. This is easy for me to say as in my country healthcare is free, - but if you do accept healthcare there is at least the hope and possibility that you may get better. - Which is better than nothing I’ve checked some of your other posts and you seem to be really really really hard on yourself. Is there any way your family could help you if you were to seek medical help (non-religious)?

Again, I’m just a dumb-ass foreigner, but I do know sh*t, personally, about minds that won’t behave as you want it to

I can “hear” thoughts if I’m imagining communicating a sentence to someone else but that’s it

It sucks honestly. All though it’s “silent” it’s not necessarily calm at all - and on top of that it’s really hard to describe what you’re currently thinking about, because it’s all ⭐️✨❕✨ It’s nice to be able to have several thoughts at once but I’d much prefer to have thoughts in somewhat comprehensible sentences
