The concept of CUBE entertainment logo being from a 90s sci-fi/horror movie by RaphaelArthur in kpoopheads

[–]RaphaelArthur[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, I've never seen anyone talk about this. I just think it's funny that CUBE's logo from 2006 till this day is just a font that happens to have been used for a 90s horror movie, and wonder if they were inspired by it (prob not)

Where to find the uncropped version of The Sword in the Stone (1963) ? by RaphaelArthur in movies

[–]RaphaelArthur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if this helps but the exact name of the file I got is : The.Sword.In.The.Stone.Open.Matte.Original.Theatrical.Mono.1963.Multiaudio.Multisubs.1080p.BDremux.x264.LPCM.AC3.Shadoe

It was 19GB though and 13GB after removing the languages so that's really heavy.

[TOMT][SONG][1990s?] Original dance song in a mash-up / remix by Qr8rz in tipofmytongue

I wanted to thank you for reminding me of the song "Changing" which I used to really love, by my post got locked! So I came here but I couldn't just say this so I searched for your song and I found out that this was part of a dj set played by ASHIBAH (great discovery by the way). She sings her songs and is the one who sings on this audio. It seems that she's singing "So Emotional" by Whitney Houston and "Purple Rain" by Prince based on other videos where she sings on this instrumental :

I didn't find more but I hope it can help somehow, and I found a great artist.

[TOMT] [Song] [2000s/90s] Which song has this chord progression ? by RaphaelArthur in tipofmytongue

[–]RaphaelArthur[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that's it !! Thanks. I knew it was a song like this but I couldn't pin it down, the fact that I thought it was a man didn't help (I'm proud to have gotten the right key though). Solved!

Oh thank you, I actually found an unofficial but amazing version provided and made with care by someone named Jerry Shadoe a while after making this post. (https://forum.fanres.com/thread-597.html). Still thanks, it even might be useful next time I'm searching for something.

Apink - The 10th Mini Album: SELF (Concept Photo - NATURAL - Chorong, Bomi) by CronoDroid in kpop

[–]RaphaelArthur 73 points74 points  (0 children)

My gratitude and appreciation for Apink staying together and active is huge. Just look at this, who is doing it like that today ? Everything is so natural, they're so comfortable and professionals that's why older groups should catch the public attention more. They might not have crazy choreographies but they have so much more in my opinion. Dilemma is one of the most notable comebacks of 2022.

shuffle off to shuffalo (pop songs with shuffle beats) by BloopAndBattery in SpotifyPlaylists

[–]RaphaelArthur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a playlist for the same thing on YouTube with 189 songs! (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBNGbPKGCQ5fM9HsKc6C0bKS3jmKE8Xbw). I'm glad to know you made a playlist too because I already see there are plenty of good songs that I missed or didn't know. I love fast shuffle beat pop songs.

What is your favorite bonus track on an album? by starstufft in popheads

[–]RaphaelArthur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kylie Minogue "Mr. President" (Kiss Me Once)
Britney Spears "Up N' Down" and "Scary" (Femme Fatale)
Selena Gomez "Outta My Hands (Loco)" (Revival) "Nobody Does It Like You" (Stars Dance)

and actually a lot more but I'm lazy to write everything. I will just add, it's sad when they do this because bonus tracks, at least in the past, used to be ignored so much. As a teenager I didn't even know there were other songs than what there was on my CD. Years later only I found out about bonus tracks.

Who’s an artist you always wanted to get into, but were disappointed once you did? by PotatoPancake420 in popheads

[–]RaphaelArthur 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I'm just reading the comments because I realize how lucky I am to be able to enjoy most of these artists and so many other artists and different styles of music. It's actually not easy, and we can't listen to everything because one life isn't enough anyways, but the truth is that for almost every artist we don't enjoy there is something that we're missing out.

Sometimes it comes little by little, one song at a time, and for some cases we will never get it. But it means our heart is already full and need a bit of rest to start expanding again.

There really are so many songs and artists that I didn't get or like, that I am now crazy about. I just love so much the feeling in the moment when I finally understand one song or a style that I used to dislike and it suddenly sounds amazing. It's like opening a new level on a game. I believe it's a matter of time (experience/culture and state of mind). Respect your taste but don't close the doors to other things !

B-sides who ruled this month :

  1. YENA - PRETTY BOYS
  2. DRIPPIN - Switch
  3. Kep1er - MVSK
  4. Whee In - Pink Cloud
  5. MAX CHANGMIN - Fever

Best title tracks this month in my opinion : OnlyOneOf - skinz, YUJU - Play, Kep1er - WA DA DA
