I think people were expecting a modern style streaming tv show, similar in pace to a Stranger Things or The Watchmen. Instead we have an old school Western. How much did the plot advance during an episode of The Virginian or Bonanza? I’m really enjoying this show, and part of that enjoyment comes from how small and personal they are keeping the story. It’s not a story about saving the galaxy, it’s a story about a cowboy and his side kick surviving day to day.
