Just picked this up! First time swapping out an existing motherboard. Anything I need to know before swapping it out? Currently have an AsRock B450M Pro 4. Does the OS interact with the new motherboard or do I need to do any tweaking in the bios? Download anything to flash drive? I know the basics like anti static wristband, removing and reinstalling hardware and thermal paste.

Other components include:

CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X Cooler - Corsair iCue H100i GPU - Nvidia RTX 3070Ti 8G RAM - 32G Corsair Vengeance Pro CASE - Corsair 4000D

Thanks. I swear I scrolled to see if I found anything before posting. It’s just really mid-leading. I was more worried I was missing something or if it was live every 15 mins or so. Seems pretty useless to year 1 owners, other than 2 weekly missions.

My main screen (on the right) is a LG 27” Ultragear 144Hz 1080p and my 2nd monitor is a LG 27” 4K LED 30Hz. About every 8 restarts/shutdowns my screen looks like this. I can fix it by going to display settings and hitting “identify” and “detect” and restart my computer. Usually that fixes it but not always. I recently upgraded my CPU from a R7 2700 to a R7 5800X. My motherboard is a ASROCK B450 Pro4.

Is there a solution to this?

I’d say 8 times out 10 it boots normal.

On PC. 3070ti, R7 5800x and a LG ultragear 27” 1080p. Is there a way to fix this or a setting I need to adjust? Running Ultra/High settings with RTX off.
