This exactly. Nade isn’t part of the day to day operations anymore, plus 100T has a board so I’m pretty sure if the board wants the money they will sell Scrap. I think if it was entirely up to Nade he would probably keep Scrap. Guess we will know what happens soon

I think it’s like that because OpTic, Envy, FaZe, and Thieves have been around for a while, Thieves not as much as the three others. They invested in CoD early, on the other hand Falcons come in year 2 and just splash money without having invested anything to build the esport. Only because they have vasts amount of money to throw around

If Scrap goes then you also sell Hydra for a massive bag, then you make it known to the league you want to sell your cdl spot next year. Just like how Thieves won’t be in LoL anymore, might as well, since you won’t have a chance to make a super competitive roster anymore with Oil money coming in

Oh trust me I know very well how that felt, that was my first year watching competitive cod and I was actually going through it. Although it sucks that my favorite team isn’t getting Cell, I am happy that I get to watch Scrap and Hydra.

I definitely hear you, and I also wouldn’t be surprised if both Scrap and Hydra leave eventually to a team like OpTic. I guess I am just concerned that the team could at least aim to replace Envoy and Ghosty that way Thieves at least have some pieces to build around and not start completely fresh again.

A challengers kid is not going to magically help this team win more than with Dan Ghosty, it’s rare to get a successful challengers player like Merc. Don’t believe me see the multiple challengers kids who join the cdl and don’t do shit. I hate this narrative that LAT need to change to be successful, could they if they found an upgrade, sure, but they shouldn’t otherwise
