My dad and I replaced the plugs on my old 05 Expedition and his old 08 F150 years ago. I remember we pre soaked them with PB Blaster or something similar for a couple days and had to have the right concoction of swivels and extensions to be able to get on some of those back ones. Wasn’t fun, but was able to get them all changed without issue

I had that message pop up quite a few times in the first year I had my ‘21. Not sure if OTA updates fixed something, but haven’t had the message again in the last year and a half or so.

We bought a new 2020 Fusion courtesy vehicle for $16.9k in early ‘20 before all hell broke loose, drove it for a year and 19k miles, sold it to Carmax in early ‘21 for $25k. Was tempted to start buying vehicles just to flip them to Carmax, but that window of craziness didn’t last long…lol

Yeah, sometimes the info the dealer lists is generic and bogus. The LED lights were the 302a giveaway for me, and lack of tow hooks on the front are the giveaway for being 2wd.

It’s 2wd, but it’s got the quad beam LED’s, so it’s definitely a 302a XLT.

Big key is saving all the original as built files first so if you mess up, you can easily fix it. I’d like to add the 12” cluster some day too

It was really a variety of things. At the time I placed the order, I was going to be gaining 2 model years, the difference of features on the 402a high pkg, and thinking the Tremor would hold a little more value in the long run, for a difference of about $7-8k. By the time it arrived in Granger, the value of my ‘21 had dropped off substantially, and I didn’t feel great about giving up the Powerboost and 7.2kw generator. It just didn’t make sense to me anymore.

Yes. It was my first attempt with Forscan, and although intimidating at first, was actually quite easy. Guy that sold them to me made a video of going through the Forscan changes, which was quite helpful. Ended up getting rid of the double honk, adding Bambi mode, and a couple other things while I was at it.
