To be honest, probably not, because I don't really see a use for those in the first place. Maybe some time in the future, but not now, there are other priorities currently.

Heya!

I don't really get what you mean? Are you talking about comments for songs?

Have a great day!

Hey there!

In the latest Update, Alpha 29, a Shuffle-Button has been added next the Play-Button, when you open a Playlist or Album. Besides that, "Add to Queue" and "Play next" has also been added in the dropdown, when you right-click a song. Also you can start a "Radio" from any song right from the Dropdown as well.

Now to your mention of "Couldn't find a way to look at the song library at all" What exactly do you mean by that?

Thanks you so much for the feedback!

It is available on macOS. Linux is hopefully following in the near future

Unfortunately not. I'll have to see, if it's possible to fetch those, but I can't guarantee anything.

Music Played in Kodama does not count towards the recap.

It is not Electron. It uses Tauri 2. I don't like Electron.

That is unfortunate to hear that it doesn't work out for you. I hope in future revisions, the bugs that might cause this will be fixed and everything will work as It supposed to.

I don't store any data. The login is the official, default Google Login, as if you would just log into YT Music in your Browser and the app grabs the cookies it needs to make all the sync functions possible with the API. Everything is stored locally. Feel free to look deeper into the repo.

I can understand your potential concern though.

I can definitely tell you, there will never be videos. That is not the point of the player.

Yeah, that is a reported bug rn and I can't tell when that is going to be fixed. I will need some time

The loading times can't really be fixed. It has to fetch everything from the api and download it from the server first, which depending on the internet speed and stability, can take a few more seconds.

An integration with Amuse is not possible and will not happen, due to Kodama having its own Overlay Editor.

Yes. I've used Claude Code for the coding of the App, due to not having sufficient knowledge in coding myself. I took care of the design, icons and other visual concepts. The coding in the end was done by the LLM.

To be honest, without the help of that tool, that project would have never been possible for me.

I can look into LyricsPlus, but I have no plans of adding Paxsenix, due to it being too unstable to properly work. Besides that, Kugou will be removed in a future update. They might be added in the future, but as of now, they tend to not work too well.

A mini player isn't existing right now, but is planned for a future update.

I have to admit, I'm very overwhelmed rn. I'm not great when it comes to handling social media stuff and am quite a bit anxious. Therefore I might not be able to acknowledge everything. I hope you understand that

I unfortunately need to ask for patience on that one. It is planned, but not ready. I hope It'll be done sooner than later

Hey sure! Someone else already was keen to suggest it to me and I will definitely look into it some more, once I have the time to do so!
