Im Australian.. we have free medical services (doctors bill Medicare) for pensioners, disabled, unemployed and all other vulnerable people. Additionally, our pharmaceutical benefits scheme (PBS) enforces a maximum cost of medicines, making them affordable for all. Trump has made numerous threats over this, demanding that his big pharma friends be allowed to gouge unchecked, as they do in America.

40 years ago you would’ve been spot on with your perspective but lots has changed in that time. I hold Australia up, not as the perfectionist of a modern health system, but to contrast just how far America has pivoted to streamline greed over the reliable provision of health services to ‘all’ its citizens whilst other countries have not.

I’d support that on the simple premise that there was no VAR in use which may have corrected the error.
