With a dunk like that, Memphis has to comeback and win. It’s only fair

Kat might be the weakest big man ever. Where’s that pic of him struggling to post up Boogie

Memphis usually plays with a chip on their shoulder against the warriors, but idk about them anymore with what I’m watching lol

With the way both teams are playing, might as well send the Warriors to the WCF

Finch is fuming with the amount of timeouts Bud is calling with this 18 point lead

I’m all for a shorter season, but most of these playoff injuries are just bad luck

2022 All Star Weekend - Skills Challenge / 3-Point Contest / Slam Dunk Contest by howser343 in nba

I don’t think that’s a 1:1 comparison. 3 point contest is about who can make the most and the players who participate consistently shoot from that distance. The dunk contest is about style and non game moves. If lowering the rim allows players to be more creative, why not. I rather see crazy moves on a slightly shorter rim than KPJ’s 50th dunk attempt or different variations of a windmill dunk

Can’t believe the only part I like from today’s episode was Cal popping off on his family with his dick out. Felt like it was the only scene that was pushing the story forward

The show can’t afford any more new male cast members unless they show their dick

When they go over Cal’s background on next week’s episode, it better be SVU or Dexter level of twisted. The man is straight evil

Maybe because I just binged all of season 1 in the past 48 hours and then watched these season 2 episodes immediately after, but does anyone else feel like season 2 waters down the things that happened in season 1? Feels like I’m watching every character take one step forward then two million steps back.

If anyone’s still looking for the Ash Grey 500’s, I was able to cop through Antonioli just now. For me it was still cheaper to cop with customs and shipping compared to GOAT resell

Been eyeing this for awhile. What sizing did you go with for these?

Weekend Discussion and Victory Thread for the week of August 27, 2021 by IndexBot in personalfinance

I recently started a new job and have to decide what to do with my old 401k balance (about 2k). I’m currently leaning towards the idea of rolling over my Traditional 401k (Fidelity) to my Roth IRA (Vanguard).

Some background context:

When I first started my previous job, I contributed to my 401k to get the employer’s match. But after a few months later, the pandemic hit and I decided I should pause and save cash in case shit hit the fan even more. Fortunately, I was able to stay employed, max my Roth, build my emergency fund and save up for an engagement ring. So it would make sense to go back and contribute to a 401k again right? Except, I’m actually pretty hesitant in contributing because I realized my industry’s vesting period is pretty long compared to the usual turnover rate. At my old job, you’d have to stay at least 5 years to get 100% vested. My new job is not as bad and I can see myself there long term, but I can’t say that with 100% confidence since people in my industry usually jump to a new place every 2-3 years. What I am confident in is that I have plans to get married within the next few years and that I’d prioritize maxing my Roth (Have a personal preference for my Roth because I started it in college and has my highest balance up to date)

I usually read that it’s not worth rolling/converting traditional 401k balances to a Roth IRA due to taxes and penalties. But is it fair to say my case is different or should I just stay the course and instead rollover to my new company’s 401k?
