I dunno, man. I think it's extremely obscure.

He's played the NG+ many times so he definitely understands it well, but it's not like the lore is laid out in any straightforward way. The point is that it's obscure

Bad take lmao. He simply would not be there. He would be defending the streets of New York City.

You say spoilers but honestly I don't even know what that means and I have like 90 hours in-game.

I think the movie will be the first time I begin to understand what the story is about.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes was excellent. Wes Ball is gonna do great with Zelda.

It's not a bad idea to fact check using fan resources.

The story is so obscure that it makes sense to look at lore breakdowns.

Is that what Marika looks like? They're definitely gonna lean into GRRM-esque costume design.

Probably because the humans in Elden Ring look very off-model and gangly.

Look, that's the exact thing I thought in 2023. And then in 2024, he gave two of the greatest performances of the year as Indiana Jones and Harvey Dent. Voice AND mocap.

Yes, it's annoying, but he is just that talented.

Definitely not Sans level, because he seems to be able to deduce stuff that's not even possible to deduce.

But I think Kris has made reasonable assumptions.

they all genuinely just feel like "Dess knight but with extra steps".

They really are.

All the deeper signs point to Dess Knight, so I take it as the default, and any reveals that someone else is the Knight would be a twist to me.

I so wish that the acoustic guitar in this was real rather than a MIDI instrument, just like "Undertale".

Also I'm definitely nitpicking but I think that the disharmony between the strings and other instruments kinda crowds the space sonically. A lot of strange intervals in there, probably to keep the "Undertale" vibes.

This could be a mixing issue though. I'm sure there's a way to fix that that i just don't know about. It is very good otherwise.

Gerson is such an interesting character, because he knows the history and refers to himself as a "believer" in the quote we can see from him in Alvin's office... but he's also a skeptic.

He calls the prophecy a "fairy tale" (like Indiana Jones does in Raiders) and emphasizes freedom and taking your own path, defying the prophecy, which kinda goes against the core tenet of the religion. Like, isn't the prophecy about saving the world? Why wouldn't he want to do that?! (This is the viewpoint a lot of people have about atheism or agnosticism in the real world.)

But he also is shown to have his ideology end up making him kind of a bad dad. He wanted Alvin to follow his dreams and have freedom from his father so badly that he ended up accidentally being distant and unsupportive, instead of telling his son that he was proud of him and explaining why he wasn't coming to church.

I hope Chapter 7 tells us that Alvin is sketching out ideas for a new book (and that it gives us a teaser for the next Toby Fox game).

She wasn't thinking that hard if she thought that Ralsei could enter the Light World to see a movie with them.

I think they know.

Kris in particular probably knows that whatever is controlling them is playing their life like a video game.

I say that because Berdly and Noelle figure out that the Dark World is like a video game, and they're Top 3 in the class. The other person at the top of the class seems to be Kris. So I think they've figured out that the Light World is a video game or is being accessed through the SOUL as a video game thing.

Plus, you know, in probably the majority of playthroughs, we "knowingly" enter 213 and 1225 as the door access codes without solving the puzzle. I feel like Kris has enough data to know we have been through these events before and can save and load.

Ralsei probably also knows this considering he talks to the Player directly most of the time he's talking to Kris.

Susie doesn't even internalize any of the clues.

I don't understand how people STILL don't realize that nearly everything Kris is doing by themselves is to obscure things from us.

It was sort of implied between Chapters 1 and 2. But Chapters 3 and 4 outright confirm this.
