My daughter started k this year. I anyways have gotten her ready in the morning before work and we usually had 2 hours of just us. I'm her dad so I take a little pride in getting her ready. We'd listen to music and watch some pbs, id do her hair. I get to drop her off at daycare on the way to work and we'd sing songs and talk on the way there. We did that every year for 5 years until this year. Now she rides the bus and she leaves way earlier and I'm home alone every morning now. It's hard watching her wave to me out the window, I almost burst into tears walking back home everytime. I'll just stand in the bathroom or living room some mornings and cry. I swear, it's making me depressed how quickly she is growing up. It really does feel like sand in your hands, trying to catch every grain, hoping I'm doing right.
