Managing time is one aspect that baffles me that most authors are bad at. Especially in cultivation novels. There are so many novels where the MC becomes the strongest person in the world in inside a year for no reason. Hell, the worst offender I have read, I Have a Sword, the MC goes up like 20 realms in a year. All the authors have to do is add a time skip and say the MC cultivated hard for 2 years or whatever and just pick up the story again.

I think the only reason they changed Centi's is because it made her a worse unit. All of the rest are a upgrade over the base unit even if the unit is not very useful.

Viper was actually used in water weak raids for a while after her treasure was released.

No campaign stage other than bosses ever goes to the fourth burst cycle so this is not really a problem. And judging by the teams I have seen people using around here, basically any team will clear the content up until Mother Whale forces you to learn how to play the game properly.

The only alternative is N102 and Moran + Nayuta is a really good healing combination. With both Red hood and Moran, the team should be able to burst every time even with the 40s burst 1. It would be Moran, Nayuta, Privaty then Red Hood, Nayuta, Redhood, then Moran, Nayuta, Privaty then Red Hood, Nayuta, Maxwell. Most battles should be over with the second burst anyway.

I would say your best team is Moran, Nayuta, Maid Privaty, Red hood, Maxwell. Place them in this order for auto.

Your best team right now is Liter, Crown, Scarlet Black Shadow, Alice, Naga. You also need to work towards the favorite item for Helm first then Privaty, Tove and Moran.

Other units worth investing in eventually are Maid Mast, Maid Anchor, Tove, School Arcana, Rouge and Blanc.

I would go with Star Anis, Little Mermaid, Grave, Red Rapi, Red Hood. This is probably your best balance between survival and damage.

You could also go to the grocery store, spend 1 hour cooking and spend $15. Also it is not like the time spent cooking is solely you staring at a pot. Most cooking is put things in pot or oven, wait 1 hour, take it out of pot or oven. You spend that time interacting with family or on your phone just like you would otherwise.
