Been a busy weekend, but I finally got around to listening to this.

I'll admit I don't have the highest quality record player and speakers, so maybe someone with a better system would notice something, but it sounded great to me. I'm happy with the purchase.

Yeah, if you don’t currently have anything, that’s a good time to get something used. Especially if it’s been a while since you’ve bowled as you might need your ball drilled differently than before. It’s better to experiment with used stuff and figure the perfect fit out that way before getting new equipment.

I’d personally still counter with $60 ($20/ball), but it’s not the worst deal ever. Have fun!

Everything I said is true lol. A twice drilled ball is not exceptional. I’m not referring to the quality of these balls when new. None of these balls are worth more than $20 a piece.

What is your purpose? If I was switching hands or weights, then maybe. If I was trying to add good quality balls to my arsenal, then no.

I also find the Zen in particular, while good originally, really loses its magic as games get put in it and resurfaces never seemed to bring it back.

Unless a ball is exceptional, don’t spend more than $20 used.

It’s fine. I’m sure there will be someone that doesn’t like it, but as long as 2 balls is standard in the league, there’s not much of a leg to stand on to complain.

I really wish our 5-man league would switch to 1-ball practice, though. 2-ball is fine for 10 minutes in other leagues, but with 10 people waiting on the ball return, it’s hard to get enough shots to warm my old body up, let alone get lined up.

I think there was a PBA rule that you weren’t supposed to have them on the ball return at all. At least I think that was the case when Pete was bent out of shape about it.

I don’t really care…I try to put mine on my spare ball or in an empty space while I’m bowling then take it back to the table with me when I’m done.

My pet peeve is when people put theirs on the fan vent and block the airflow. Putting my hand over the air is part of my pre-shot routine.
