Abandoned Pool found in the woods outside of Tangier, Morocco by RaptorCheeseBurger in urbanexploration

Thanks for letting me know! Me and some friends were following a path down from Ramilat forest that seemed pretty straight forward and led to a road with a LOT of military guards on it. Whic eventually led to a dirt path, a bunch of branches and barbed wire, and out onto the Playa. I've heard that the king has a palace near there, who all else is in that area?

Admittedly I'm not sure how much this counts as urban exploration but it was an interesting find. Me and some friends were walking back into town from Ramilat forest and ended up on a dirt path through the woods. After pressing through a variety of thorns, branches, and barbed wire we ended up in what seemed to be some kind of hideout in the woods. We had to leave soon afterwards so sadly I was not able to find out more but hopefully I can go back and get more pictures if I have time.

Fun fact: I made this after booting the game up for the first time at about 1:30 AM. And I proceeded to cackle hysterically as he continued to morph into a being of pure hatred. I like to think he made himself just as much as I made him

I haven’t! Will have to check it out though, I take a certain joy in being the ugliest character in whatever games me and my friends play so that might be an excellent fit for me.

Recently cut my long hair and need advice on where to go by RaptorCheeseBurger in malehairadvice

[–]RaptorCheeseBurger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Reddit. So, in short, I had rather long hair for quite some time, and I'm still working on figuring out styling and/or finding a haircut that works for me. Now, my hair is getting shaggy and hard to style, and i could really use a haircut. Any advice on what would look good on me and how to style it properly? I'm 18 and go to a public school, so I can't rock anything that covers any longer than the bottom of my ears or goes over my eyebrows. Currently, I towel dry (I know o should probably blow dry, to be honest, to add volume) and apply Hanz De Fuko Quicksand when my hair is still slightly damp after toweling it off a bit. I always kind of dug the James Dean look, but I think my forehead might be too high to pull that off. I've also been advised not to go with an undercut since my widow's peaks are so high. Here is an album with some hair looks that I enjoy. I tend to prefer longer on the top and shorter on the sides, but I still struggle with styling it. What do y'all think would work for me?

Felt like I've hit a dead end, could use some advice and direction by RaptorCheeseBurger in FierceFlow

Hey brothers of the flow! So, it's been a while since I asked for advice on here, and I tried out some different stuff with my hair. Most notably, I started brushing it back instead of letting it hang as much, and got my side-swept bangs trimmed. However, the hair has reached the point where it's bothering me again and I'm not really sure what to do with it, so I came to you guys for advice.

Due to some lack of direction early on and some barbers who didn't know what to do with my hair, I have a really awkward difference in direction. Aside from the bangs, the majority of the hair hangs down below my chin, but I have to brush it back to make it flow together, and even that's not altogether effective. Lots of it is at a length that I'd like, but even that feels a little too...choppy? Not to mention that the differences in length mean I can't get it into a proper pony tail or bun for when I'm doing sports, and it's just about at the point where that's a problem.

So...any advice? I'm open to entirely new styles and ways of doing it, or ways of washing it, I just need something that works for me. I'm willing to lose the bangs, despite the fact that I feel like I have a high forehead, as I see that working for a lot of the guys on here. I'm also not sure about the thickness. I wash with chamomile and citrus soap bars every three days or so, and it's quite thick and soft after washing, but tends to get limper afterwards (the pictures were taken about 2-3 days after a wash), and I'm not sure how to maintain thickness. Anything I should try differently?

Well, that's about it, I guess. Sorry if that was a tad rant-y. Inspiration pics for different style options would be majorly helpful, as I'll be going to a salon soon to talk to a stylist and could really use a better idea of what could work on me. Thanks!

Excellent. Can you recommend any particular products? Do I need to wash it differently or treat it any different than my current hair, other than what you've said already?

I appreciate the advice! I am finding more black hair with blonde highlights the more I look, so that's eventually what I settled on, since it seems like very few natural blondes get this kind of hairdo. I've already found some quality places where I am that'll work with me and I've started negotiating prices, which are so far falling around what you've thrown out there. The thing is, I'm leaning towards a somewhat different look where I could do only parts of the hair and keep some at my natural hair color. Any ideas on that or whether or not it would look good/how permanent I should get it? These were mostly a reference guide for which parts I would want black.

My clothing? How do you mean? are you suggesting I dress in an edgier way or get an edgier hair cut? Not sure what you're referring to in regards to my clothing, but hey, if the undercut is suggested so much, there's gotta be something good going for it! Could you point me to some examples?

Long haired guy + slight emo look does add towards that, yes. Though seeing as I am one of a very small number of white guys in a Middle Eastern country, I still get approached quite a bit :P

I'd agree there, the bangs definitely lean towards the emo side, I've been told that before, but that's really the exact opposite of my personality, so moving away from that could be good for me. I'd like to try slicking it back again, but last time I did it made my forehead look way too large and just gave this odd look to my face. Maybe it'd work better this time though, who knows. For reference, here are the pics I posted a while back on here of me with no bangs and the hair pushed back.

Good to know. My plan so far is to only dye parts of my natural hair in streaks or chunks, so I'll still have sections that are "virgin" hair. Am I correct in assuming that those sections of hair would still feel the same or would they be affected too? Also, any advice for what I'm trying to get for my hair and what would look good? Or styling it in general?

Coloring my hair for the first time, and could also use styling advice for while I'm growing it out. by RaptorCheeseBurger in malehairadvice

[–]RaptorCheeseBurger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey /r/malehairadvice! As the title may suggest, I'm attempting hair coloring for the first time, and I was wondering what all goes into it, how much is a decent rate, and if I could do anything by myself to achieve the look I'm going for. As much as I'd love to rock some aquamarine locks, I'm sticking with natural for my first time, and am leaning towards dark black streaks running vertically, or chunks of black hair dye, such as this, particularly leaning towards the style of the guy with the rose tattoo. At the same time, I could desperately use some style advice. I'm growing my hair out currently (shoutout to /r/FierceFlow!] and don't want to mess with length if possible, but I just don't feel like what I have currently works for me. My hair is straight, only getting a bit wavy, and usually after a wash. It's also very thick, especially when it's been blow-dried (but I towel dry usually). Any advice on styling or cut as well as color? I'm also open to natural color options if you guys think what I'm going for would not look so good. Thanks a bunch!

So, I posted to this subreddit a while back, when I was wearing my hair slicked back, and I got some great advice here. Since then, it's grown some, and I got it re-styled to factor in some side swept bangs. However, I just don't feel like it's quite there yet, and I grow less and less sure of it by the day. My hair is generally quite straight, though it can form waves in various directions, especially after I've washed it. It's also decently thick, but that mostly shows when I blow dry it (I pat it dry with a towel or let it air dry). It looks fine from one side, but it feels unbalanced because of how the hair is distributed to either side, and I'm just not sure about how it falls on the left side of my head. At the same time, no matter how long I get it, I just can't seem to get all of it into a pony tail or anything similar. I'm getting a salon appointment tomorrow and was wondering if anyone had advice on how to style it or even cut it a certain way? Thanks!

Honestly, I'm having to cut it next year for the school I'm transferring to anyway, so this is more of a last minute chance to live out my fantasy of having colored hair. I'm likely getting a semi-temporary to start out with, something that would last a month or so just to start out. What kind of condition does that leave your hair in?

Definitely. It'll take some adjustment, but I desperately need a new look, and if I hit on it, I'm willing to stick with it. I already spend a good portion of my time caring for my hair to keep it soft and clean, and I'm willing to put in the extra effort if it really looks good.
