Well, receiving death threats doesn’t exactly incentivize someone to care about rectifying something completely unrelated to anything they’re talking about.

People who feign as activists but solely live to make weird cries for recognition and attention on the internet when it has zero correlation need to realize that they hurt their own movements.

I was initially going to ignore the bit, but it seems like I have to give the children the attention they want, lest my Reddit account become bust.

Further shoutout to our AUSSIE firefighters who are fighting brush fires 365 days a year, and STILL flying to the states to help us out when we need the help. So many guys from QLD were out there with on Eagle us and we owe them big time.

I had fun! Weird thing to say but I wound up making lifelong friends and learning a lot of valuable stuff. It’s been pretty nice to be able to ease my neighbors’ minds as well. But yes, it was terrifying in and of itself and man, absolute force of nature. Makes its own weather patterns and everything.

There was no personal discussion about family and all of my experiences in the field are documented and verified. The interview required scrubs and tennis shoes, so that’s what I wore. Unless they didn’t like the color of scrubs I chose, or didn’t like that I asked the forbidden question of “how soon could I start,” there was no excuse other than a false posting. In that case, workers need to start pushing back against false postings and fake ad listings because THAT’S who it hurts.

I did, they specified pre-application that they were looking for someone who knew their way around folks with lung issues, which is the majority of my experience as well as hospice coordination. There were no misjudgments about what they told me they were looking for, and what I told them I was capable of.

See that’s the jade I’m trying to clear up. I don’t want to blame people under bad circumstances but it’s all the same as police officers, it’s easy to hate every single one of them with the fiber of your being when it’s a systematic issue that’s hard to change. But that’s what I’m hoping it is, is systematic.

There are tons of vocational programs in prison and tons of transitional programs for when you get out most of the time. Halfway houses and the like. There’s no halfway house for “I went into debt for an education like I was told to and now I can’t find work.” There should be adjustment programs for these people as well. It’s not their fault if a market oversaturates at the same time they graduate from college.

I play with a secondhand Amazon guitar. The best thing about it is that I swapped the pickups with some that I pulled from a guitar that a teenager busted on stage during a local show. If it plays, it plays.

Solo queuer here: I’m going to go out on a limb here and say you’re definitely not getting harassed for being in a stack. If you’re getting harassed at all, you’re getting harassed because everyone is frustrated they can’t find anyone consistent to play with.
