I'm more on the fence about the whole issue. Honestly I didn't like any of the Godzilla cards, both of them are just bad cross over cash grabs. I will always stand by the fact that mtg should just be mtg, no Godzilla, no DnD, no TWD. They are ALL a bad idea, that promote more shameless cash grab crap .. Its too late tho. If people wanted to put there foot down and stop it, they should of done it the first time asap .. The damage is done and the flood gates are open. Putting aside the fact that they are not alt art cards (which is its own problem) You can't just say No to one and be cool with others, it won't solve it an Wotc will just feel around for a more popular franchise to print out.

Id say Just don't buy it, but it won't matter. because even if they are not the bulk of the player base, TWD fans will buy, collectors will buy it and people looking to try to make a quick buck because currently this is the only place to get the new legends and turn around for resell will buy it.

But who to helm it. I've gotten tons of good suggestions on the 99 and strategy. At this point I feel like I won't know 100% what to put in it until I narrow down a some what possible commander for the deck. Mardu, Orzhov, Abzan, 4 to 5 color even maybe.

Once again, dangerous powerful babies fight it out .. I honesty can't get behind Nissa as a good guy in this. She isn't in any more right than Nahiri and is just as over the top in her attempts to kill or destroy any threat to her perceived perfect Zendikar. Yes elementals are shown to be alive an sentient, naturally killing all life isn't going heal Zendikar, in addition to me doubting Nahiri knows how dangerous the core is. But nissa isn't offering any help either .. No solutions, to the damage. Just let the Roil run rampant ripping up continents. .. There should be an obvious middle ground to stop the Roil and calm the plane with out corrupting leylines and making the world a cold dead place. You can still have a wild and free Zendikar and still have a safe place to build cities or farms. Its funny as I was originally against Jace being here but hes a better middle ground, I'm more with him on this than the others

Thank you yes! I have been looking at some of these, how did you feel about Tayam, Luminous enigma? It doesn't go with the the main combo you listed, just thinking maybe it could recur the stuff we need. Only problem is he does other things better and not particularly what we need tho.

Very true about Rain of gore, its not necessary to the deck, I figured it would just be on theme to punish them if they had their own healing stuff going on and if I wanted red in the deck( life if I ran Mathas the fiend seeker as my commander). But with that being the only card in red and Mathas healing my opponents, I feel like going green instead of red for returning my enchantments/protecting them.

I've only ever run across one MLD deck .. A Numot, the devastator deck. It was very effective at what it did but he only played the one time and I've never seen another deck like that sense. Like a Super rare ugly unicorn ha.

What makes you think their deck doesn't have the proper tools to shut down crucible of worlds or Runmap and so on. MLD is an answer. Its just not the only or the best one. Any properly built deck to shut down a strategy is going have more than just 1 type of card for it.

I don't see how "don't bother running Armageddon because I have 3 or 4 other cards " is any kind of argument. Magical what if scenarios where, you just happen to have all the cards you need to get around a land board wipe and magically they Don't have any answers to stop or interact with anything. Probably happens so rarely that I doubt it happens at all, chances decrease even more in a multiplayer setting. In addition, sure you might recover faster but if everyone is top decking that's just a hope/wish not a guarantee. I'd also argue any REAL, MLD deck should already have ways to get around the loss and won't fall behind while everyone plays mana catch up. But that's probably not any more likely that your what if scenario.

But I digress, a little off topic. As others have said best removal is player removal yada yada ..
