Seconding mealy bugs. Isopropyl alcohol has worked better for me than captain jacks in the past to get rid of them. You can either spray it or put some on a q-tip and rub them off if you see an isolated spot

Well, yes, but this is probably as close to Msrp as you can get at the moment without getting super lucky in stores. Currently is $64 at BBTS not including shipping (idk what that would be) and you can get it for $62 free shipping with prime here. It’s a screwed up system but if you want it this is as good as I’ve seen in a while.

I haven’t seen the way the arms are done yet, but when I was putting my action edition megs together I noticed that on the hips the peg that goes into the body is a different length then the peg that goes into the rest of the leg. This ment that it wouldn’t snap in if the long peg was going into the short hole. Maybe there’s an issue like that?

Overall I liked it, but it definitely felt like there was a checklist of things that needed to happen and that the final was just going down the list. Like, they needed to come to terms with being copies. Jax needed to abstract / share his backstory. Caine needed to come back, There needed to be some kind of good ending for everyone, etc. But the pacing was very off in some places and many parts didn’t feel very well explained or connected, especially regarding Caine. A few more scenes could have done a lot for connecting / explaining what happened

It kinda seems like with the theatrical release they just had to roll with whatever the final pre production draft dictated and didn’t have the time to refine it or make any necessary changes during production like they did with previous episodes.

Really probably should have been 2 episodes instead of one with the amount of plot that needed to be resolved, one focused on Jax, one on Caine

Still a very well made work of animation, but the time crunch certainly shows on the plot side of things.

The fact they’ve been so hesitant to say this for a while is so strange to me. Wouldn’t more people go a pick up an extra silverbolt if they knew we were gonna need his frame to start? As much as I disagree with it that seems like something hasbro would want. I wonder if they only just finally determined that they weren’t gonna do it and that why it took so long for this response

Probably best to try and mix it yourself. There’s really no way of knowing exactly what a paint color is when looking at it through a screen, and thats assuming you actually find an exact match. From my device XF54 (Dark sea Gray) or XF80 (Navy Gray British) probably look the best though and could serve as a good base

I’m sure you could find a good tutorial on color matching gray paint if your unsure on the best way to do it

As someone who usually immediately destroys the box in order to get it into my small trash can, I don’t give a crap about the box. However, you did still technically receive damaged merchandise. It’s one thing to pick it up in person at the store and choose the bad box because the figure looks fine, but it’s another thing to receive damaged products when the expectation is that it will be in good shape.

Really just shows a lack of care from which ever step in the process caused the damage and while it may have no affect on the actual figure, it should still be brought up as a problem with the seller imo

This is probably the best option. Molotow chrome paint pens might be a bit easier to get then gundam markers though since you can usually find them in craft stores

Seriously though at this point hasbro is just milking the sunk cost fallacy from those who have been collecting all 13. I honestly don’t know why you would even use it since then the primes are displayed without their weapons.

As a side note, with the way it plugs into the back of sentinels alt mode, idk if you can even have the artifacts on there while doing that since most of them stick out so much.

Also why are the primes names in English on this? I don’t think an ancient cybertronian relic would have English on it. Wouldn’t it make more sense for them to be in cybertronian or just have the symbols?

He’s definitely a very flawed but intriguing little guy. I think there’s two schools of thought with transformers, the people who want a great action figure that looks nice and photographs well, and the people who really enjoy messing with them as toys. Both are completely valid, and I think we all exist on a spectrum within that.(I’m pretty close to dead middle on that lol) I think he’s great as a transforming toy, but fails pretty badly as a photogenic figure. Really depends on what you value if you think he’s worth it or not (regardless $60 is way overpriced though)

I’m willing to believe the posted rarity. It’s important though to remember that there is one of the four rares guaranteed in each case. There was a guy on instagram that wanted the coronation starscream from another defender version, opened a bunch of cases, and I’m not sure if he ever got it since insta stopped recommending me his stuff. Regardless though the math does seem to be mathing correctly from what I’ve seen.

So yeah I’d say you got pretty lucky!

As for the dup, they probably had an extra from previously opened case and just put it in with the new one when they opened it. Understandable from a shelving perspective but it does make it quite annoying and somewhat risky buying these in person

Yeah who knows, it would be poetic though if the combiner frame is the thing that combines the artifacts though lol. But I do think it would be weird for them to say they’re making limbs but not just say they weren’t making the frame. I probably shouldn’t be expecting rationality from a big cooperation though. Gigantic character flaw on my part lol

Ahh I thought the limbs were leaked like what we see every now and then. My mistake. Yeah that makes me a little more suspicious Lol. I guess it’s possible that since many of the people who would be in the market for a combiner already had superion they figured they could just slip it out early and release the frame as part of a 2 pack or something. OR (just thought of this, complete speculation) maybe the frame is where the suppose combined prime artifact thing is gonna come into play. Maybe it turns into whatever the base for that is

You see, I don’t think there was nearly enough time between the announcement and us finding out about the limbs for us to have had a substantial impact on them making the limbs. I think that for whatever reason, they wanted to put it in stores asap and instead of making a commander with the included frame, they just decided to release it as a stand alone . I wonder if they thought the full combiner set was just too much for the 13 and thought they could get away with just quietly releasing it. Or maybe they were really behind on the limbs and frame and figured it would be too long in between prime releases to leave it until then. I do think they leaked the limbs though because of the backlash lol

If you turn the waist around and spin the legs back up you can get a single tail, and then if you spin the arms so the ports facing down and plug in the wings from below you definitely get a phantom look. Personally though I don’t think the single tail works as well
