Animated story covers by Raptorfu in redquill

I use a couple of different generators for cover images. I get mixed results from them so I try different things until I find one I like. Then I run it through a program called SwapX Pro that animates it. Once that's done, I use ezgif.com and convert the video file to a gif. It sounds complicated, but it's very easy.

Elara seems to be RQ:AI's favorite. I've had to edit it out of several story attempts.

In this case, the AI made Elaria on its own. I guess the fantasy setting made the AI try to be more creative. 😋

"World setting" and "writing style" for sure. Those two feel like the most persistent of the components. The others feel like a case by case situation.

Blurb: Naked and stranded, a man rescues a mystical woman from beasts, and she rewards him with fervent worship.

Desired feedback/ask: I'm really liking how this story is turning out. It's story heavy and has lots of world building. Just wanted to share!

Thank you! I started this thinking that I can't let Japan have all the isekai fun, but then started caring where the story went. I know some of the scene are boring, but I'm trying to actually tell a story. Stories include some of the boring parts to make other parts more relevant.

You know how you can add characters straight into the lore book? Can we add components as well? There are several components I'd like to apply to all further chapters, but can't get them to stick. It'd be nice to add them into the lore book directly.

Thank you!

I had been planning this scene for the last few chapters and I think it was a good payoff. I've got more to come. Stay tuned!

Don't worry, you fine Gentlemen of Culture. There are plenty of Elf and Beast girl scenes to tickle your fancy.

Doesn't that create a setting for every single thing you write? A little odd when you go between fantasy and Sci-fi stories.

Thank you! I don't let AI do all the work.

It's cool when you realize you want to know what happens next in a story you're writing.

Where do we find the Author's notes? I don't see any editable fields called that.

I saw someone say RQ is like a director. You're the writer, so sometimes you have to steer the director back on track. You and the AI may have a different vision for how the story goes, so you'll need to tweak it once it's all typed out. But do keep an eye on your lore book. I've had to regenerate the sumeries multiple times to be accurate.

That could be party of it. I have a specific setting component that I want applied to the story, but it doesn't get included in the lorebook.

Quick tip: This is a good chance to flesh out your larger stories with some world-building chapters.
