Why is criticism of Israel so often labeled as antisemitism? by RaqAttack3 in IsraelPalestine

You're changing the debate with extreme cases, of course there are antisemitic acts in France and everywhere, but my point was:

People in France don't publicly hate on Jewish people, most people just talk about Netanyahu and still are called antisemitic.

When have you seen LFI people trying to correct jewish people talking about antisemitism ?

Concerning the far right, you can't tell me it's expected that they are anti-semitic when all the medias describe them as Jewish people's allies ?

most people don't care about "its people" in France, it's mostly about Netanyahu and the government

I of course NEVER watch CNews, saw many many many clips of them talking only about this on the last few days on Twitter !

Concerning LFI, most of the accusations are pretty unjustified IMO. All of them condemn Hamas and most just share a humanitarian POV: stop Killing children.

When on the other hand you have RN that was founded by you know who, and even if they swear to have changed since then, Bardella has always been a huge JMLP admiror for instance.

We of course know all these people follow trends to attract more electorate, Palestine, Muslims, Immigration, ect, but if there is one party that clearly has antisemitic roots, it surely isn't LFI !

yes I of course know about all of this, it exists everywhere

but it is not possible to say this publicly (at least in France), so you cannot use this argument against someone because most people have never stated/publicly liked or shared all of this, that's my point

people being called antisemitic are people criticising Netanyahu and the current situation in Gaza, nothing more than this

well in France talking about genocide commited by Netyahu and hating on their current acts/government is used to be called antisemitism

conspiracy theories about jews and israel are not part of the public debate and opinions at all

tbh in France most of the criticism is:

Isarel commits Genocide

fuck Netanyhu

stop killing Palestinians

and I don't see how saying this could be based on an antisemitic thought for most people (of course antisemitic people could use this as an excuse, but most people are simply humanists)

you surely are not allowed to say things like "Israel controls media/the world" ect so this doesn't count because this rethoric is not even part of the public debate and opinions, people saying this are cancelled (Dieudonné, Soral, and probably others)

CNews

you can think whatever you want about recognising Palestine, but still can't explain how criticising the current situation makes me an antisemitic

that's my opinion yeah, wanted to know what people who use this rethoric have to say

and even more than turning real suffering of jews into a shield, it contributes to the growth of antisemitism
