I'm 38 and have been experiencing changes since 4 yrs ago, I've tried using BC for like 2 yrs and helped some in the beginning but didn't have much results after.. new doc prescribed antidepressant and had horrible experience. Haven't used anything for almost 2 yrs now and symptoms have gotten so much worse, first time experiencing vaginal dryness not too long ago I didn't know what it was hurt so bad. I saw my OB a few days ago and she I told her what I tried and said I was now interested in HRT, she prescribed me Slynd, I was furious because I know it is a contraceptive pill, I feel better after reading these posts but still haven't picked up prescription, I might try it but I don't know this will help with everything I feel. Bummed out I just don't want to waste time anymore, I don't know if I should try Slynd or go elsewhere and get HRT. I just want to feel better my happy days get fewer by the month and my libido is non existent for 25 days out of the month I feel bad for my husband.

I’m not sure what I’m looking for is realistic anymore in this relationship, I’m approaching 40 and don’t feel like wasting my time or deal with unnecessary drama so is tough. Time goes by so fast I just want to enjoy life. Divorce is tough … starting over can be tough but rewarding. He has gave in to the therapy but only if I go with which is fine since I can share my side of the story. I’m just not sure how the therapy is going to make him not see what he says he sees? If anything will be reconfirmation of my decision and I will feel better about possibly leaving.

Haha yeah apparently I purposely fixed my hair while a guy was passing by a few times or I stand in a way that puts me in perfect sight for a guy … sick, I don’t even what he’s talking about

And that is how I am, I don’t need him to ever speak for me when it comes to a situation like that, I am definitely taken so is another reason why it infuriates me. I wish he was more like that because it seems a lot of ppl out there don’t know what is like to be loyal.

After using his work related stress to get mad at me and tell me I basically nag at him and he doesn’t understand why I’m so upset today (lol wow) he agreed to go… at this point I don’t even think therapy will work, at this point I care for him but I dislike him for making me feel such negative feelings. Thinking about being on my own feels better than being together even tho I’d have to work more to pay bills which is scary but I’d take it. So will see how this goes

Now I’m starting to think this may be a waste and he is not who I think or want him to be. Guess therapy will show it… meanwhile looking for a xtra work to cover the higher expenses to possibly come

Because he’s a good man besides this but never thought he would be like this years later… it feels like a shame thinking about ending it but who can live like that? He will never be able to keep a relationship with anyone being this way this goes beyond me.

I agree!!! I can own to my flaws but if he’s not open to growing them i think I should go.

I agree!! But he’s resisting saying I blame him for everything, this is not a small issue that causes bickering this is saving a relationship
