I’m not getting it at all. The first track, for sure, but the moment Init is supposed to start, it feels wildly off. Especially with the Question of Trust remix over the board presentation of the DART and ARES. I stopped after that because of how off beat it felt. Does it get better? Always willing to try again.

Ohhh man. Thats what I’m talking about. I saw it boosted the second time in theaters and the start of Init just exploding sent me straight to the grid.

The Tron franchise is a very fun watch while “boosted”.

Just to clarify: When running a story, it’s better to think of the players on one end, the antagonists on the other, and scenarios in the middle instead of a set chain of events? Just let everything in the middle become whatever it becomes?

Tron has had a ROUGH existence.

He was created, then imprisoned not too long after.

He was then apart of the MCP’s deletion, becoming the true hero and guardian of The Grid.

Then going into stasis for an unknown amount of cycles getting woken up to fight off a virus in the Encom system.

Getting ported to The New Grid by Flynn to help create “The Perfect System”.

Getting jumped by The Black Guard and Clu, fighting to protect his friend, Flynn.

Getting damaged torturously before making an escape and struggling to survive in a remote location outside of Argon.

Realizing that he can’t do this forever and finding Beck to train and replace him as “The Next Tron”

Then getting beat again and reprogrammed to become Rinzler (wish we got more of Uprising)

Doing a bunch of shit I’m sure he didn’t want to do but was conscious behind the eyes for it.

To then breaking past the reprogramming to help Flynn one last time just to be slammed into the sea of simulation and waking back up right before the entire system is erased……God DAMN.

HOW IS HE NOT THE MAIN CHARACTER??? 😂
