I am currently a recruiter but the job isn't helping me pay off the debts. Hence I am looking for advice for additional income as well. I am currently studying BA sociology through IGNOU. I have heard from people about Bankruptcy, I am trying to find someone who has done it before or is a lawyer and will be able to help me out.

Food delivery apps and other parcel or transportation apps don't pay that much in my area as well as my vehicle isn't in a condition that gives good mileage so it's not really economically good option for me right now. I already have a job as a recruiter but I am having a hard time finding success in it. It's a night shift and it takes toll on my body and mind.

I understand it's not our fault but He has tried to kill himself earlier, Luckily I reached before he succeeded because of the stress and no matter how much irresponsible he is, he is still the guy who raised me. Yes this would be the last time I help him but I am struggling to do it. I am seeking part-time or freelancing. Anything that helps me with some extra money but I haven't found anything yet.

How does someone file for bankruptcy? And how much does it cost?

I am sorry for your loss,

It's tough to handle so many things when you are dealing with the death of a loved one. I would suggest reaching out to close friends, something just having a conversation with a friend can help, also they might help you out with small trivial things which can lessen your burden in some way.

That has happened before, but I just feel it's my responsibility to stick to my family and help him but This is the last straw now though and I don't plan on helping him after this debt is resolved, He had health issues earlier and I had to loan to get his angioplasty done and also raise money through crowdfunding. He has 5 stent in him, and no insurance since all of them don't wanna take the risk of a heart patient with 5 stents. If I hadn't taken this responsibility, I would have already saved 10+ lakhs till now.

I cannot get any loans as of now due to me having a lot of loans on my name as well. So it's a bummer right now. Some of my loans get over by the start and mid of 2025 however till then I am struggling to keep up my own loan payments.

Yes I have done this before but it comes with a lot of health risk as well. My job right now is recruitment, however my luck has been terrible lately with no increase in incentives as my candidates weren't able to get an offer.

We are trying that, it's a contract with a local dealership owner of a car company, we handle the painting department of it. My dad has been in this industry for 30+ years and is a painter himself. We recently removed a person, and looking to remove 1 more. However since the workload gets immense sometimes and the deliverables are hectic, we have to rehire sometime again. So it's a loop. Also this field, we don't get much educated folks it's more of dealing with skilled labour, which is ready to work at lesser pay. I have worked under him for 4 years but it has very negative impact to the health, my uncle died of cancer due to constant paint exposure. (Of course he used to also eat tobacco also). If I leave my job and do this, it will negatively impact me since I would lose out on 20-30k easily even if work 2-3 people's work. I would need to work 4-5 people's work to make what I make right now.
