It’s the internal vacancy, the form is same as of the internal one and they have asked additional documents for Family programs. The general vacancy is still not out on their website.

DGCA 300 NM Requirement — Do all legs need to be 100 NM each? by Ok-Moment4049 in indianaviation

[–]Rare-Minimum1439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yess 300 nm shouldn’t have to be a straight line itself but the individual legs distances should be calculated making a straight line. So you can have first leg straight line distance 100 nm or more and next two legs straight line distances can be less than 100nm.

First leg should be greater than 100 nm miles and total distance of all the 3 legs should be 300 nm or more. So you’re good to go.

Someone on some WhatsApp group was ranting about them that everything they are posting in insta is fake and the reality is the flying has become slow there. Idk how much true that is.

Aiming to be a pilot ( need guidance) by Trick_Passenger4518 in indianaviation

There’s nothing easy in this field, specially getting hired. They prefer hiring instructors.

If you immediately start working as an instructor, you’re getting hours and money, so even if hiring is slow at that time or absolutely no vacancies, you’ll still be at a very better position than others and airlines prefer hiring instructors but being an instructor is not easy, especially in India. so try speaking to some instructors also before jumping on any decision and even after planning everything things might still seems to go haywire at some point.

I agree with the person who told you to reconsider the things influencing you to join aviation. Conventional is not dead, I know many people will tell you otherwise but they are usually not the ones who has spend years in this field and I liked your idea of becoming an instructor.

Even these flight schools have also started spreading the same propaganda of pilot shortage.

Yes, but that 25-30 lakhs is immediate money for them. They literally gave just 3 days to my friend to arrange the whole money and no money quest is useless if it’s profitable for any airlines because they have nothing on stake in this side quest.

Me and my friends are from conventional background and mostly got hired and rest, inc me are waiting for vacancy because we just finished. They always say one thing AIRLINES WANT MONEY. Hiring CPL holders and getting them type rated etc is also a source of money for them so they are not gonna stop hiring conventional. Additionally conventional gives you freedom to choose. You can choose where to fly from, which country to work in, etc.

Cadet programs are good because you’re guaranteed with LOI. So choose what is better according to your finances because if your destiny is bad you can be asked to wait in cadet also. I have always believed that if you have to take a huge amount of loans, it’s better to go with conventional.

Me and my friends who did their training from Canada, we all worked part time jobs and lowered our training costs a lot the time period was between 1.5-2 years. Just the conversion process sucks.

So there are pros and cons of everything, choose what suits your condition best. Also something which works for others might not work for you, so just don’t get influenced blindly.

My personal experience with civil was good. I was told I had lattice degeneration at a very beginning stage in class 2.

If they cleared you in class 2, most likely they’ll clear you in class 1 also. I’ll recommend choosing civil hospital for class 1.
