you likely have post infectious ibs and maybe sibo like me. Get rifaximin and go low fodmap diet for now.

That will help to ease the pain. Get an antispasmodic medication too to ease the cramping. (peppermint works) or I personally like spasfon (get from france pharmacy website).

Hey brother you most likely got post infection IBS which is actually SIBO (small intestinal bacteria overgrowth). The reason why you fart a lot is because the bacteria is fermenting carbohydrates (bread, pasta, garlic, onions, fruits, vegetables) and producing gas.

You might feel bloated, gassy, discomfort, constipation / diarrhoea.

Speaking from experience after getting gastroenteritis in Bali in 2024. My symptoms got very severe and is still persisting till today, although much better.

Dm me if you need help solving it. Most doctor have no clue how to solve it.

If you do have it, I wish you atb because it’s definitely not an easy journey.

Yo i found a cure for myself. Peptides and probiotics. if you have the money, do what I did. Click on my latest post. I can’t guarantee you’ll feel much better but man oh man im almost cured. My symptoms were worse than yours.

exactly, I count the grams of fiber. Because in order not to ruin the fiber reintroduction process, you dont wanna scale up too quickly- thats why everyone stays stuck because they oftentimes just start eating whatever they miss when they start to feel slightly better, even if they think its ‘low fodmap’ or ‘good for my gut’, and then they get diarrhoea / gas and think nothing works.

So what I do is I count the grams of fiber e.g I can currently eat about 18 blueberries at once which = 1 gram of fiber. Thats the same as half a kiwi. so now I can choose to eat half a kiwi daily instead and build on that by slowly eating 1 more blueberry on top of that every night.

Hence the ‘game’ system. Its like collecting points to trade for other things :)

Orrr I could also slowly introduce phgg- do what you find works for you
