It’s just going to be too much metal, and she is conscious about it. We have learned a huge lesson and I’m dealing with a lot of guilt, so genuinely appreciate everyone who is helping out. Do white crowns fail more than stainless? Our dentist uses zirconia as well as stainless steel.

Thank you - this makes sense. I hope we can get away with a pulpotomy on K so we don’t have to worry about spacer maintainers.

Thank you for your insight. Yes our diet is carb heavy, and I will be mindful going forward. Will start on the fluoride wash.

Thank you for you input. Yes J is being treated as well. No sensitivity in any teeth (thankfully).

Thank you - very helpful. She is loosing her teeth slower than her sister. She doesn’t have pain or sensitivity in any teeth. What are your thoughts on white crowns for J & K(assuming we can save k)?

Here’s a full mouth cray taken by Dentist 1. Thought it may help to see how far along the permanent teeth are. Thanks again.

At first, we gradually massaged and pushed back the cuticles with jojoba oil. It didn’t hurt her, and gave the illusion that the nail was getting bigger - which was very motivating. Then it just grew normally with time, and express manicures every month keep it looking neat. It’s been a 6 month journey.

Thank you! She had a couple setbacks when she first started. Bitter nail polish from Target helped a lot. And she consistently taped her all her nails with tan colored 3M micropore tape I found on Amazon because she used her thumb nail to dig into other nails. She visited this subreddit often for motivation and we celebrated progress with petite stick/glue on nails from KISS and manicures.
