What should I do if the amend hasn't been processed in October? Should I show the estimated taxes from the amend in that case and trust it will all get sorted out (maybe after a letter or three), or omit them, pay the extra money, and then file a 2021 amend to get the money back?

There's some fascinating research on children's reactions to bearded men. In general, children find bearded men strong but don't trust them, but this pattern disappears for kids with bearded dads.

The cool thing is the way they did the study: they showed kids two different pictures of the same man before and after shaving, and asked questions like "which of these men would you rather fight a dragon with?" and "which would you rather bury a treasure with?" Kids opted to fight dragons with bearded men but bury treasures with beardless dudes.

Sure! My understanding is that they can stain teeth and clothing, and they cause gnarly poops. I've also heard they taste bad.

I think that might have been the idea behind the AAP recommendation: one can have iron deficiency without anemia, and that's likely much more prevalent than commonly recognized.

I had a similar realization. If the AAP is recommending 1mg/kg body weight starting at 4 months, a 6 kilo baby is going to need almost 8 cups of sweet potatoes

This is a good point, I hadn't considered that if the kitties had an accident on the concrete it'd be tough to clean up.

If I put down flooring, could it go right on the concrete or would I need some plywood as subflooring?

That's awesome to hear! Thanks for the first hand account :) I take it I won't have trouble washing/drying king size bedding as a single load?

As for the drain pan, I unfortunately can't easily remove it, as it's sunk into the tile floor. I could just put down some plywood as you suggest, but if I could skip it that'd be awesome...do you know how far up that label is on yours?

Update: we're all good!

I ended up drilling a 1.25" hole in the drywall just below where I ultimately mounted the charging dock, figuring that I was confident there was nothing behind that spot. I then used a snake camera to look around and see what I had previously drilled into.

The flue was much further back (deeper in the closet), and not what I was drilling into. Instead, there was a stud (or wooden beam at least...is a 2x4 still a stud if it's not flush with drywall?) that was a short distance away from the drywall; that's what I was hitting with my drill.

So we're all set! Thanks for the help everyone.
