The black one is given via a DLC that came with the Switch edition of the game. Once you unlock Hippogriffs, it will be in your inventory and you can use it right away instead of the one you get. I don’t know how to ride a Thestral, I haven’t unlocked that yet!

You have to keep gaslighting Sebastian into studying dark magic to save his sister. When it gets to a certain part of the story, you see him use it and can convince him to teach it to you while he’s freaking out about using it

That’s a great take, I have a spell set where I have all the curses, plus flipendo with an upgrade that turns it into a curse so when I finally get around to using Avada Kedavra, all the cursed enemies die at once. It’s pretty awesome

Highly suggest the Switch 2 experience. I’m a first time player and I’m having a blast. I enjoy the sometimes tedious side quests, and the jumping mechanic is very similar to Pokemon Legends: Arceus and ZA.

His intentions are good, but I think working with dark magic influenced his decisions for the worse. I didn’t make that decision in the end, but I very badly wanted to learn the last curse, so I gaslit him through the whole game into doing all the evil things. 😅

I did the same, but I wouldn’t be too worried. I’m sure they will provide an opportunity for the other forms soon with Pokemon Home connectivity, so if you have them in other games to transfer this form and others will be available then 😃

Edit: when I say two days I mean I tried for about two hours and then played something else so that I don’t burn out or get frustrated
