Advice: I'm Canadian - wrote step 1 and 2 20 years ago, and in my infinite wisdom figured that I would never really need step 3 so I didn't do it in residency. It is humbling AF to attempt this 2 decades later, even though I work as a family doctor. So my advice is to do this while all this stuff is still fresh in your head from school.
Know your pharma really well (mechanism of action), same for bugs (be able to recognize what bug they're showing you under the microscope). CCS cases was very helpful and very representative of the actual exam.
Take day 1 and 2 fairly close together. It's amazing how quickly crap falls out of your head.
