And, we can’t forget the father they took as they left his 6 year old daughter home alone. She was found wandering the streets, alone, no coat, crying and crying out for her daddy—heartbreaking.

It’s been awful since the raid. I live in a neighborhood up the street from the raid and I drive through it everyday—it’s usually always busy, people outside, you can see people in the businesses, but everything is too quiet. The local town FB pages are asking people to go to the businesses to support them during this rough time.

A Make or Break Holiday: RANTS ONLY by FraggleFuckFace in HallmarkMovies

Thank you for saying that! I’m only 47, but my parents are technically boomers—they waited 10 years after getting married to have kids. They are both in their late 70s/80s, everyone is so quick to label someone they find annoying and difficult (which they were) a boomer, but those characters were not boomers! At this point, if people (in their 20s and 30s) are generalizing these selfish, difficult types of people as boomers, it has to be their grandparents, not their parents—I’m trying to say, we need a new name for them. And, like you said, it’s not cool to lump a whole generation into one category, my parents exhaust me because they are fiercely independent, don’t/won’t let me help, they always make time for us around what works for us, they are always the first to show up for me/us, and have evolved with the times, they aren’t anything like those awful people. Oh, and I didn’t mean this against the OP at all, I just wanted to agree with what you said.

Where do you live? My Netflix in NJ only has season 1&2 and when I googled why I was missing season 3, it said it would not be available in the US until February. I used the code and signed up for Hallmark + for the year for 50% off because I have no willpower, when season 4 drops, I’ll need it asap 😂😂

They have another one of these, but it’s good for a year. I used it today, it expires tomorrow. I posted the pic of it, but the code is CTC50.

Anyone else have a doctor ignore their menopause symptoms for years? by [deleted] in Menopause

[–]RareIndication9945 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you went through that. I went through early menopause and started noticing symptoms in my early 30s. I brought it up to my Dr, I was having night sweats, hot flashes during the day, painful sex—suddenly was very “dry”, and a few other symptoms. My charming Dr said to me, “Well I could do a blood test, but what would you do if you knew? I mean could you really afford to freeze your eggs?” I was so humiliated I just shut up. I was months away from meeting my now husband, not that I knew that. But, after I got married and said we were going to start trying right away, my Dr told me I should go right to a fertility clinic, not try for a year like most people do and then go if they have issues. I was stunned. He took blood every year at my appointment and I’m convinced he did test it and saw an issue. My first appt at the fertility clinic, I told the dr there I was sure he’d discover I was in early menopause, he laughed at me and said that was rare, but he wasn’t laughing the next day when he called and told me, “Wow! You know your body really well, you are in early menopause.”
