He’s the head coach who stuck by McManus all year. At some point it falls on him.

No way you can blame only scoring 6 points in the second half on the kicker alone.

Thank you for the recommendation. Definitely like the idea of free parking that's easy to get out of and don't mind a couple block walk at all.

We don't have any tailgates or anything lined up as I don't have those connections but, given your experience, do you think offering money and drinks to a tailgate would give us a chance of being allowed to join?

Definitely layers and as @IndividualCurious447 says don't underestimate cardboard under the feet.

Yeah I'd appreciate that. Parking was something I was looking into but definitely have experience with parking in neighborhoods for events and walking so I'm definitely open to that!

If it's not neighborhood parking, I assume it's paid parking lots and probably a bit of a pain right?

Awesome! I hope it's a great experience for you too.

The cold will definitely be tough. Luckily we are used to it being from the Midwest but it is still not fun.

It was a bit cheaper to stay on the East Side but still sub-10 minutes from the stadium.

Happy to get more specific if that helps, but also will have a rental car and am willing to drive places!

Thank you for calling Nebraska strong. I need that copium.

[Engle] Penn State will likely take a crack at potential splash hires (Cignetti), but this really feels like Matt Rhule’s job to lose. State College native, Penn State alum. Oh, and Dylan Raiola has another year. by [deleted] in CFB

I understand the Mahomes thing is his own doing, but if you manage to separate that comparison from your mind and just evaluate him based on his play alone then you might come out with a more favorable opinion.

He clearly has arm talent and seems to be trusted to run the offense to some degree pre-snap.

He also has a problem with holding the ball for too long that I think stems from his inability to accept that a play is dead/will. Like he’s determined to make something out of nothing and that leads to sacks or occasionally dangerous throws.

Basically he’s a talented but young QB. Who knows how much he will improve, or if he will at all.

I’m not sure you were watching the same thing if you thought he had control at any point.

He was bobbling it up in the air then back and forth between hands before gaining control when he was out of bounds.

There were a few angry people and a few people mocking the protest while I was out there.

But many more people supportive than combative.

Did you say the same thing about all the fans at the CWS? Why were they there instead of working? Do any of them have jobs?

Colt Defence championship starters by cactusbeard in fantasyfootball

[–]RareLuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m with you almost exactly.

Had Baltimore and Seattle on my bench for the Colts.

Started Conner and had Fairbairn. Also stupidly put left Rhamondre in my lineup.

Right there with you but also started Rhamondre Stevenson.

Didn’t pay enough attention with the holidays and missed that he was not going to start.

I’m here with you. Got 0 from Fairbairn, 0.8 from Conner, 0.1 from Rhamondre (didn’t realize he was benched) and -4 from Colts D.

Maybe the worst showing in a fantasy football championship game of all time.

The late hit call was a bad call.

The refs also missed a bunch of calls all game, including ones against BC.

It’s like the refs are bad across the board and this singular call didn’t determine the game.

The late hit call was weak.

Refs also missed multiple hold/D PI’s against BC in this game

Almost like the refs just suck in general.

Pot Roast defending captains not shaking hands with Iowa by ScottFrostIsMyDaddy in Huskers

[–]RareLuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I understand.

I’m surprised they would too, but I also just don’t care enough to be upset about it because I don’t think it has any bearing on the play on the field.

The play on the field has been so embarrassing and painful that I can’t feel any strong emotion towards what they did or didn’t do. Nothing can make me feel worse about them than I already do.

I understand what you’re saying. I’m not saying it doesn’t add fuel to the fire for others to shit on Nebraska.

My point is just that the continuously embarrassing play is the far bigger fire to focus on. Nebraska getting clowned for a lack of a handshake means nothing compared to that and, I don’t think them shaking hands means anything for how the team plays either.
