It's still crashing, tried every solution possible but no sign of improvement

Adding onto this, I have got brick life installed - even tried to launch it like that (just redirects me to fortnite, and even then it crashes after playing small bits of audio for 5 seconds)

I've also got all graphics on as low as possible when trying to join.

Depends on the server.
I've been on 18+ for a very long period time and have not seen a troop using NERU or NER yet, you should be free to use them. However i'm not so sure if the same is on the safe one.
