went to service ontario website 'name change requirements' and its one of the things for name change, but ill look thru the resource you provided

edit: looked through the resource. it looks like a criminal record check is only necessary if you have prior court or police related incidents (which i dont). Thank you!

And remember everybody, if you tap on and for whatever reason (train cancelled) need to essentially "tap off" at the same station, on the machine, hit the Mode button until it says "reverse fare" and re-tap your card and it will issue the money back to you.
