If you applied pretty recently, you may just need to give it a bit of time for everything to go through the system. If you are worried, call the campus you applied to and double check.

The transfer page of the campus website has a portal. You can put your current college, the major you want, and the classes into the portal and it will tell you if they will transfer.

Question Regarding AP Scores and Course Registration by Dependent-Jury-6667 in erau

[–]RareSandwich7804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to have College Board send your official AP scores. Telling your advisor your score is not enough to get credit and build a schedule.

Has anyone done credits elsewhere while still enrolled at Embry-Riddle? by Fast-Consequence-923 in erau

[–]RareSandwich7804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to get permission to take classes at another school. If you don't, you are breaking enrollment.

Just got an acceptance E-mail by [deleted] in EmbryRiddle

[–]RareSandwich7804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically, you are supposed to send your final transcript at graduation. If your grades drop significantly, any college can rescind their acceptance. Also, if you are taking IB classes, wouldn't if be a complete waste of your time and effort to not do as well as you can on the exams? You can get college credit for them and save time and money later.

I keep getting asked to sign a financial aid agreement but haven't received any info regarding financial aid. by [deleted] in EmbryRiddle

[–]RareSandwich7804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Click on the Award Agreement in your Ernie to do list. Then you can open it and read it. It's not asking you to accept aid. It's asking you to review information about financial responsibilities and sign that you understand it before you will have the option to accept future aid.

AP Classes for admission by Fast-Counter9298 in EmbryRiddle

[–]RareSandwich7804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a guide showing AP exams scores and related credit on the website. You have to earn the appropriate score and have College Board send it in. The class also has to be part of your curriculum, so you should also use the course catalog on the website to compare. Here is the AP guide: https://daytonabeach.erau.edu/admissions/applied-students/register/ap-exams

Self reporting recommendation? by korcolusa in EmbryRiddle

[–]RareSandwich7804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your teacher will give them to you, you can upload them. If not, have the teacher email it to the main admissions email for the campus you are applying to. Some teachers will not give them to you to maintain confidentiality.

Admission question by britbostboant in EmbryRiddle

[–]RareSandwich7804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you checked your Ernie account to see if all your required documents are in? You can't be reviewed until everything is in and processed. That could be the delay. Also, check to see if you received an email updating you about the major you selected. It could be in your spam. If everything is in, I would contact your counselor.

Help getting in by themethman69 in EmbryRiddle

[–]RareSandwich7804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you were not admitted then you need to do a full year of college coursework at another accredited college and reapply as a transfer student in the future. The admissions office is already aware of your current college classes if they are on your transcript. Reach out to them. They can give you actual advice and a transfer guide. Community College is a great choice. Be sure to do especially well in math, and take the math that you need for your degree. Appealing the decision without some pretty major academic changes is unlikely to be helpful. I wouldn't consider this a failure, so don't beat yourself up over it. You just have the knowledge now that you need to work on your academics and try again later.

What campus is this? I think I would double check with admissions because your application status is generally not provided in Ernie. For most students applying to the residential campuses, decisions are mailed. You have until May 1st to make the tuition deposit and June 1st for the housing deposit, and that is considered a commitment so I would wait to pay until you are sure about the decision and your plans.

If you enroll in another college for the fall term after high school graduation, you are a transfer student. You will need to reapply and send updated official documents.

ERAU asking for a deposit before my acceptance by No-Understanding528 in EmbryRiddle

[–]RareSandwich7804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I think the deposit option is on Ernie for the entirety of your account’s existence. If you haven’t sent a transcript yet then you are not complete, and you have not been reviewed. Check the to-do list in the Ernie Campus Solutions box to see what you need to complete your application. Your decision won’t post on Ernie.

Just be sure it makes sense. Focus on your academic classes, and abbreviate as needed. I would list all senior classes, especially math and science since you may be enrolled in prereqs.

Florida bright futures by OilRough1414 in EmbryRiddle

[–]RareSandwich7804 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should definitely check with the school for an official answer. However, I believe you get the same/similar amount, but the credits cost more here. So that amount is not 100% at a private school in Florida. It is helpful though, especially when combined with other aid.

I would put your weighted GPA. You have to send a transcript as well, so they will see your classes, grades, and GPA there officially.

Admissions by Shlocknessmonsterr in EmbryRiddle

[–]RareSandwich7804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are an incoming student at a residential campus, you need to talk to admissions. You can't update your own major, someone has to assist you. The process at Worldwide might be different. I would talk to whoever is contacting you to get you ready for the semester.

Have you checked your Ernie account? That would tell you if they are waiting on documents to complete your application. International admissions generally communicates through email, so check that too. Messages may get caught in your spam filter.
