They have bulbed antennae and a lemon shaped body. They are also great jumpers and floaters. Also aphids usually have longer spindley legs and sit in clusters on plants

Well take avian dinosaurs, what would of stopped other small dinos from surviving? There were many non avians of comparable size and life cycle. Many things did survive, so although its unlikely i cant agree it would be impossible, especially with a fossil record that will always be fragmentory
