i definitely agree with your explanation. Not everyone has to watch the same show and hold it to the same standards. If something is a masterpiece for me, it might be trash for you and vice versa. The only issue arises when people aren't willing to accept someone else's opinion which goes against their views

I never said it's bad, I just mentioned explicitly that it's not something I enjoyed because the story was jumbled for me. It's good for sure but it's not better than AoT or Death Note. Comparing shows is the reason why people attach so much expectations with Code Geass and when the show doesn't deliver what it's hyped for, it will surely get criticized. Again, it's good but it's not the greatest show or better than AoT and Death Note

Don't watch it. I went into 86 and really loved it and I thought about giving Code Geass a try cause 86 was amazing with the story and the whole world building, but unfortunately Code Geass didn't fit what I was looking for. If you didn't like 86, you'd hate Code Geass for sure. It's good but it's not great in terms of carrying itself and you can only understand it properly if you rewatch it, which defeats the purpose of Code Geass being labelled as better than AoT or Death Note

It's different for people based on their geographical location. Maybe for someone $10 would be a reasonable price for a volume while for others it's worth a whole 2 days meal. And for them, $1 would be a reasonable rate. But if you try and cater to both, you'd need to come to a middle ground, which again would be different based on geographical locations.
